helo all!...we are identical twins planning to go on spring break 2007...we want to party HARD and go wild...wht destination do you all suggest for spring break- panama city or cancun mexico??...we will be travelling all the way from dubai (i am sure half of u out there have no idea where duabi is)...ur suggestion will make it easy for us to decide...also what dates are better? we have March 10 to March 17 in mind...

I hope everyone knows were Dubai is if they are in college. The UAE is one of the fastest, if not the fastest growing place in the world. Although if you are not one of the migrant workers, and i am guessing you aren't since you are going on spring break, you must have a ton of money, so that won't have to factor into your decision.

I am going to Panama City myself and since i haven't been before i can't compare the two for you, but i can say, you'll be better off on March 10th, that's the busiest week.

panama city beach is definitely the number one spot... i have been on vacations to cancun and cabo during the summer with friends and hit up all the clubs and bars...they are alright but nothing can beat la vela and the foam party at hammerhead fred's on thursday night

the beach bash at sharky's on tuesday is amazing too...

i just love pcb... this will be my 5th spring break this year and i will be there... the 10-17 so come on and join us... itll be great!

thanks for the input thePman & bcnya12...we were inclined toward cancun cos we always r in the US during summers (summer house in chicago...dubai is too freaking hot then )...but if pcb is better than cancun, then its bye bye cancun ...

Twin twins twins, dont waste your time in Cancun, Panama City is far better!!!!! Cancun is full of english, especially at spring break!

Panama City Beach is the place to be...

I saw this thread and wanted to chim in. This will be my 3rd trip to Panama City Beach and let me tell you....it is amazing!!!!!! You will not be disapointed with the all out 24 hour party. The super clubs LaVela and Spinnaker are top and I party in New York City. The clubs in NY don't even come close to Panama City Beach during Spring Break. There are beach parties in the morning and afternoon and then you get an hour to get ready to head out at night.

Not only are the clubs great, the strip is something to see. thousands of people driving down the main strip at 1 mph with windows down radios up and parties every were!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be heading down Mar 11th to the 18. There will be about a half million people down that week and even though MTVu has not put out its concert schedule they will be there and will be putting on concerts every Tue and Thur. Hope this helped and if you have any questions just ask.
