I need all the input you can give me, positive or negative, about the boardwalk because there is 4 guys and 2 chicks from ole miss coming down during peak week and we want to stay as close to the super clubs as possible. I have been in the past and i know that the boardwalk and the summit are on each side of the super clubs and the boardwalk is 295 cheaper than the summit for the whole week and if its springbreak friendly we are planning to stay there, but if not we would rather pay the extra 295 for the spring break atmosphere of the summit. Summit is a little nicer, but security is more strict. You'll probably have more fun at Boardwalk. Summit is literally right next to Spinnaker and La Vela. Boardwalk is about 100 yards walk to Spinn and La Vela. Either way, you'll have a great time, but I'd recommend Boardwalk slightly over Summit. Good luck and have fun!

I don't understand why everyone says the summit has strict security. I stayed at the summit last year and security didn't care how loud, how crazy, or how much or who drank. Sure, you have to have wristbands but ppl were getting to the pool area all day during the days and at night you can just bring others in your cars if you wanna get other people in. The Summit is a HUGE place so most of the people around the beaches and clubs are staying there anyway.

It seems like all the people that say security is strict at The Summit haven't even stayed there in a while. I've heard of people getting kicked out at the Boardwalk because apparently they are very strict with underage drinking. We had 3 underage people with us and Summit didn't even look twice or try to ID anyone, for that matter.

You guys were probably very smart about how you dealt with security. You could've probably gotten away with pretty much anything at any hotel.

Most ppl don't put that much thought into it, or they're too drunk to care and have issues with security. For some ppl the least amount of security means the best time.

It's much like boot camp or prison, all you have to do is walk up to the biggest baddest security guard whoop his *** and none of the others will mess with you for the remainder of your stay.

We are staying at the Summit. It is definately worth the money, we stayed and partied there over the summer and they didnt care how loud we were....PLUS it has been confirmed that MTVU is coming back and will be in that area....with Performances from Lil Wayne, Three 6 Mafia, Juelz Santana and many more...

Actually those concerts you listed above were from last Spring Break down at PCB. This years list of artists hasnt been compiled yet..

the concerts werent that great... other then the free condoms at the trojan display.. it wasnt great..

the beach is gonna be filled wit thousands of people and the clubs are gonna have events goin on... its gonna be a good time wit or without them

Fellas, lets be honest......if it takes MTVu to make your spring break then thats sad. You got beautiful beaches, great music, great food, thousands of people to meet and of course some gorgeous women. Cheer up and get hyped. It's gonna be a blast!
