PCB for Spring Break! Need some advice...

Hi,

A group of us are coming from England over to PCB for Spring Break 07 (from March 12th) and we are looking to book up our hotel this week.

From what I've read on some of the other posts it sounds like the Broadwalk is a good place to go and fairly cheap...? When I've been searching it seems as though there are 2 Broadwalks though. Broadwalk Beach Resort Central Condominiums and Broadwalk Beach Resort Hotel & Convention Centre. Which one is the one that some of you guys are recommending?

If not there where is the best place to stay? Seems like the Summit and Chataeu are also highly recommended?

Thanks very much!

Although the Summit is a little bit more expensive, it is a guarantee good time in a great party atmosphere. Plus, you walk right out back and you'll be in the midst of MTV and all their booths and parties.

I stayed there last year and had a blast which is why again, my friends and I will be there again this year. We've already booked our 2 bedroom condo and can't wait. Don't let the security talk scare you. We didn't have a problem at all and we were crazy the whole week.

Don't get me wrong though, Boardwalk and Chateu seem like great places I just enjoy the Summit because of its gigantic size (much more ppl there), its location, and they also have kitchens and are just bigger all around. Its just whether you want to spend the extra buck or two...

the boardwalk

I might be wrong, but when I was there, The Boardwalk, was the same as the Howard Johnson, and it was pretty crappy. The Summit is definitely in the top 2 places to stay. I stayed there 1 year, and one other year went in the multiple times , anyway, its nice and there are tons of people there like everywhere else, but its nicer, and in a prime spot, definitely closer than The Boardwalk.

If you want to stay at a nicer place I would go with the summit for sure. I've stayed at the Boardwalk the past 4 years during spring break and have still not decided if we will make a return for year number 5. Ever since our first spring break 4 years ago the boardwalk has become more of a dump each and every year. However, if you want to save a ton of money I would def go with the Boardwalk. Last weekend when i checked out the price it was$613 for March 10-17 so thats pretty damn cheap. Regardless of where you stay with will def have the time of your life.

There are two Boardwalks (in the same lot), the Condo's and the Hotel. I agree with everyone else the Hotel is dirty and old however the condos are brand new and beautiful. I booked and it was not expensive at all. If you decide to go to the Boardwalk, make sure you book the condo's and not the hotel. They are almost the same price.

Renovations

Actually I just heard and confirmed through Boardwalk that the hotel was just recently renovated and now matches the boardwalk beach resort, boarwalk beach resort was built two years ago compared to Summit which was built over twenty years ago
