The majority of the times I've been to PCB, MTV has not been there. They still had concerts at LaVela. They actually used to have concerts at the Boardwalk Beach Resort, but I'm not sure if that will happen this year. My point is PCB will not be less fun without MTV. There will still be alot going on behind the Summit, LaVela, Spinnaker, and Boardwalk during the day. There will be tents with free stuff. Harpoon Harry's usually has stuff going on on the beach too. I wouldn't be surprised if someone took the reigns and got some concerts and stuff together for spring break. MTV being gone leaves a huge opportunity for someone else to fill the void and I wouldn't be surprised if something happened over the next few weeks. I guess we'll see.

I guess its one more thing for me to look forward to since i will be in cancun, but MTV doesnt make the trip, you, your friends, and the good times you have makes the trip, mtv is just a bonus!! You guys drink a few for me down there in pcb! ILL have a few tequila shots for you all in cancun!! No matter what, party it up!!!!!!!

yeah everyone should be a little upset about mtv not being at spring break... but seriously, its not the end of the world. all my friends did with mtv last year was go to the 3 six concert behind lavela and stuff and we had a blast. and HELLO YALL! lavela is going to have the ying yang twins on the 13th!! i mean look at the upside... its still gonna rock out, plenty of parties, and the bars will definitely still be serving PLENTY of alcohol... so dont get so upset that you want to back out.. the first years that i went there was no mtvu and we still had a blast! let's be optimistic and have the best times of our lives!

its funny... i was in such a CRAZY search for a stay at the summit i made my name on this site.. summitstay wanted cuz thats all i could thing of... hahaha

whose trying to pary together when we get down.. last year it was just me and my boys.. im tryin to find some new people to chill with and get our drink on...

i'm still excited but i am definatly a little bummed about mtvU not being there! i'm afraid to tell my friends! but i think we should still try to e-mail that person posted in an above thread! e-mails work sometimes, i've gotten a free ski trip out of it before! i know we will all have fun anyways but mtv is definatly a plus!!!

Agreed, I'e been to Panama City the past 4 years for springbreak and the most fun I ever had down there was actually the first year when MTV wasn't there. The past couple years I personally thought the concerts were kind of lame bc you wasted half the afternoon waiting for them to come out on stage and missed out on all the other partying on the beach. Im a rap fan, but the best concert in my opinion was OAR three years ago. By the way what ever happened to the Boardwalk having concerts like they used to. One year I was down there 50 cent put on a show at the hotel. Make sure you make it to Spinnaker atleast one night to check out Noah's Rain.....best cover band I have ever heard.

Yeah, I remember when the Boardwalk had concerts too. They stopped when MTV started setting up behind the Summit. I tried to contact the Boardwalk to see if they are going to do anything now that MTV isn't going to be there, but they haven't returned my email yet. I guess we'll see what happens.

I agree Noah's Rain is great. I've seen some big name concerts down there, but Noah's Rain has been my favorite.

I agree, I thought the Boardwalk concerts were better, anyone there when Smashmouth performed?
