Coming from Delaware I will be taking 95 Straight down to Florida then taking I believe route 10 or whatever it is straight towards Panama, my understanding is that I should beable to make the trip in only 12 hours, so we shall see

If you come down I-10 your best bet will be to get off onto 231 South and its a straight shot to PCB (about 45 minutes) from there .

Yeah thats exactly what we will be doing according to mapquest. however I might take 95 to 85 and take 85 south but im not sure how much shorter or longer that would be

I originally thought about driving then I remembered it was 18hrs...yowsa. Plus I want to get there and have full energy and such and so forth. It I could drive there in 10-12hrs I would probably do it.

Yea I can understand not wantin to be in a car for 18 hours, but its just 2 of us drivin down in an 04 Audi A4, so the ride shouldnt be all that bad really, just a lil slow when its my turn to drive being that I have a suspended license.....dont wanna hit any speed traps and the sort while behind the wheel

Dizzam! Outlaw behind the wheel! Yea, I mean I have a 2005 Saab 92x Aero, and it's wicked fun to drive, it's also really comfy. I just can't see myself wanting to put all those miles on my car, but, to be truthful, I originally wanted to drive but my loser friends were the ones that convinced me otherwise! haha... Now that I am 99% sure that I am flying it will be cool to get there with an extra full day, I am also thinking now about coming down Wednesday, instead of Friday. I checked my syllabus in my classes and I don't have any mid-terms or anything that week, I could be doing PCB wed-wed. That would give me 4 full days of awesome peak funness(19-26)!

I work full time as well!

This is my first semester in grad school. (part-time night classes) I go to SUNY Albany(number 1 party school in the nation 1999, 2005) our break week is the 24-28th. It's just the more I read the more I want to go in that peak week. Plus I can't miss Panic at the disco.

Yea so I checked my schedule and my mid-terms are the week before. So I am going to cut classes from Wednesday on. Also airfare is cheapest Wednesday-Wednesday.

I haven't booked my hotel or airfare yet. When I get paid next Tuesday I will do all that. I haven't 100% made up my mind as to where I want to stay yet...since it's going to be more peak week than not I was thinking about staying at TOG or the Chateau. I checked earlier this week and neither were booked up all the way.

Is it worth it? Of course it's worth it....when it all goes right there nothing like it. Just a word to wise though when you plan the trip for your friends when shiat doesn't go right, you're the one that takes the blame. Even if it's not your fault, cuz when you plan you're the travel agency!!

The trip is only one week but the build up is months so for me sometimes getting in shape, planning, and romanticizing over the trip can be just as much fun as that week itself. **** if I didn't have pictures I don't think I would even remember my week.

The more i read these and post my opinions, the more excited I get and the slower my day goes by. 61 left..shhhht. If it wasnt for my buddy wantin to go so bad id go down by myself for peak week. dunno what kinda fun that would be but im sure Id make the most of it, oh well I already booked my stay at the Chateau for the late week so we'll see. I hope there are still beach parties and stuff when I'm there, the sponsers I can live without but will people still be drinkin and partyin hard on the beach that week does anyone know?
