There's no buses, there's cabs though that run all the time. Some of the larger hotels, I read had shuttle buses I am not sure if yours does, you might want to call your hotel, and see if they are running them, if not you can ask them what they suggest.

oh and also wondering about strictness i have a couple real iowa id's that look like me but say im 22 or 23 (im 20) will they work down there for beer and liquor? maybe kegs? and how strict are they with beer and stuff on the beach.
I would buy the stuff at home and bring it to the beach, don't depend on your fake ids working in a place as strict as Panama City Beach is with it's underage drinking policies!

As far as using your id to get you into bars and stuff so you can drink while you are out, your just going to have to talk to other underage people when you are down there so you can find out where's good. I can tell you that there will be some people and a few places that are looser than others, there always is because selling drinks to minors is big $$. More likely you will have to make some trials and errors yourself, no one right now can tell you how strict each bouncer at each club will be, except maybe kareemdieselshun (who supposedly is a bouncer at Hammerhead Fred's) or KristinRae (who claims, nay, is a bartender @ LaVela according to Gomer) try pming these guys, they might just be able to put you on the inside track...

Other than that, like I said, always pre-game hard and heavy with drinks that you brought and then you won't have to worry so much about buying drinks at clubs, or buying alcohol when you are down there, you'll also save yourself some duckets when you aren't buying drinks...

To the island? LOL... Its no island, close, but no island. The bridge divides Panama City and Panama City Beach but you can go the long route and come down 79 and skip the bridge, but I wouldn't recommend that.
