FOR MAKING THIS THREAD STICKY!!!!!!Here are some more tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1. The best way to get around in Panama is walk . It can take up to 2 and 1/2 hours to drive 4 miles on certain nights, plus by walking you get to meet all kinds of people plus sitting outside some of the clubs is better than inside. ![]() 2. Watch out for Beach undertow! The undertow along the beach can be very strong at times. Many people drown each year fighting the undertow. If you get pulled under, swim along with the flow of the current and work your way closer to shore as the current weakens. DON'T FIGHT THE UNDERTOW!! If you see red flags along the beach, stay out of the water for your own safety!Pay attention to beach flags – these are warning flags that help you understand the surf. Know what the colors mean before you go.
Bring your ID – if you plan to go out on the town, make sure you have your ID. Even if you are only 18 and do not plan to drink, you are not welcome in clubs until your ID is checked. Most clubs mark the 18-20 year olds with stamps or bracelets.4. Most hotels, motels and condos in Panama City Beach require a damage or security deposit for registered users. Get a copy of the agreement sent to you prior to your stay and go over it with all room occupants. Most have policies against loud music/behavior, underage drinking, balcony climbing, fighting, unregistered people staying in the rooms, among others. Read these carefully, because you do not want to face eviction on your spring break .5. Open alcoholic beverages are also not allowed within 50 feet of a public place. You are also not allowed to walk on sidewalks or in parking lots with beer in your hand, so make sure its in a cup or a GIANT Beer helmet with Water written on it!!!!!!!! It is against the law to take ANY glass container on the beach, so if you have liquer, put in in an empty plastic bottle or mix the drinks before you go onto the beach.

wow... i cant believe how much good and accurate info this thread has... it should be mandatory for all spring breakers!
one thing to add tho... I'm not sure about Spinnaker, but La Vela is NO RE-ENTRY under 21, so if you are under 21, either show up early for the cheap cover or wait till later and pay in full (I've seen it get up to $45). They do that to prevent kids from going out to their cars, drinking, and coming back in. Did somebody say flask? |

Getting a hotel the cheapest way possible
There’s a really important way to save money when hotel booking. Some of you may already know all these but for the ones that do not, pay attention! I know you see all of these deals at PCB07.com, springbreakrooms.com, studenttravelbreaks.com, Orbitz.com, Hotels.com, etc. DON’T book a room/rooms through these sites. You pay a higher premium when you do because you are getting these rooms through a booking agent. I would use one of the listed sites above to find the cheapest room THEN go to that hotel’s main site to get your room for usually around 20 bucks cheaper because your not paying a hidden agent fee. Example: You use Orbitz.com and it comes up with Days Inn as the cheapest rate out of 30 hotels in that area for the time you want to come down. Let's say you are staying for 3 nights at $212.00 a night average. Then you would go to DaysInn.com directly and book your hotel room and it would cost around $198.00 instead of $212.00 average nightly. Some hotels even run special discounts from there main website where if you pay in advance before you even stay at the hotel you can pay an even cheaper rate. A little research goes a long way.
P.S............PARTY HARD!!! |

Actually you can see pictures of me on my profile.... I have a life, in fact I know so much about Panama City Beach, because I like to travel there other then Spring Break and this site is for travelers, not for people trying to piss other off. You really must have no life coming on here and putting these things on. Maybe you don't relies this (as an uneducated local) that most businesses in PCB make 80% of there income during Spring Break. There wouldn't be anything in Panama City with out Spring Breakers Money!!!!! Trip smart is there a way to remove his comments and ban him from coming on.
. He is really getting annoying!!!!! I mean you can tell by his screen name he is either one of the two... (a) 13 years old and his parents don't give him any attention, or (b) a 45 year old sex offender looking for attention from young people. Please Ban him either way. Thank you Trip Smart.
