Yea man. When I was in HS we got out either the 10-17th week or the 17th-whatever of March. Or whenever the dates fell on the 2nd and 3rd weeks of March. My little brother will be out the 2nd week of March this year.

If you're going to smoke some ganga while here, please, by all means, be careful! There will always be narcs and uninformed ignorant people. The same rules you would use while smoking at home apply here. But then again, chances are the people in the room beside you smoke as well.

The cops sometimes have drug dogs out by the strip, although I've seen a decrease in this over the year.

Also if you're coming through Alabama, obey ALL traffic laws and speed limits (somewhat). The place has started doing a statewide blitz every now and then where they pretty much have every officer/state trooper available working traffic stops and road blocks over a period of 2 weeks or so. I wouldn't be surprised if they had one around SB.

Hope everyone reads this thread and uses it to their advantage and has an awesome spring break. Just try not to remember any of it other than by looking at pictures and video. :)

Hey I am thinking about getting the VIP plat. pass to La VEla. No lines, free cover, discount tickets to shows. Free foam and beach parties free drinks at time........ Well is it worth $125 not to wait in line and stuff. or what???? i Mean I wanna go to the Boardwalk of course to. Also, how do you get into the MTVU at the boardwalk if you are staying somwhere else???????

I found a room right across from Club La Vela and Spinakers for $700 buckes for 6 nights. I mean it is awsome one bedroom with a bunk bed area and a pull out couch. It has a huge king bed tile throughout and a plasma flat screen. It is really nice. I got it from the OWNER and not a booking company. Check out this site it is awsome and you can haggle w/ a lot of the owners. Its called VRBO.com. (vacation rental by owner).

Lines are a *****. (Concert lines are freaking insane) So that's a plus! But unless you plan on visiting the club more then once, it's not worth the cash. If you plan on a couple trips then I'd buy it.
