Hey whats up everyone? I am loving all of the posts on here and hating them at the same time. Im stuck here at school with mid-terms and homework to do but cant get away from reading all of the great things that will be going on while we are down there. Im rollin in all the way from Albuquerque, NM, with some buddies from CO, and NY from the 10-16. We are staying at the Boardwalk. Anyone know how that place is? Anyone wanna party it up let me know. Whats gonna be going on that week? Damn I cant wait.

Bro, it all depends on what is going on at the club....... Between 7-9pm beer is usually free (spinaker usually gives free rum punch) after that it is up in the air. You will be spending about the same as you would at home though. .50-$5 for a beer (latitudes has .50 beers on Thur) and about 6-9 dollars for a shot and about 7-10 for a mixed drink. New Tips to live by!!!!!!

After going to Spring Break this year, I have come up with a whole new list of tips to live by!!!! I will updating this board with new tips and pictures to back them up, as soon as I get some free time……. Till then remember my number one tip…. Live life to its fullest, you only get one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Everyone!!!!!!!! I know that the boards are dead right now, but its never to early for a Tip!!!!!!

If you are planning on going on Spring Break 2008 start planning early!!!!!! Make sure you pick your destination, travel arrangements, and resort as early as December... This way you can braek down the cost and start recruiting friends to join you. Collect the money before you confirm the hotel... Remember the earlier you book the more money you can save... If you are within driving distance I recommend driving. Panama City Beach Airport is small and expensive to fly in and out of!!! If you must fly fly into a local airport in Florida and the drive to PCB. Hope this helps in planning your 2008 Spring Break and I will be updateing my Spring Break Tips soon.

DEFINITELY go on the bar crawl. It was by far one of the best things we did all week. We also met some ladies and hung out with them for the majority of the crawl, and I am still in contact with one of them.

On the other hand, the beach bash, which I believe was at.. umm... harpoon harry's maybe? ... it was a let down. Yes, free beer and jungle juice all day, or whatever the hours were... IF YOU CAN GET IT! It was so packed, we unsuccessfully tried getting to 'the goods' for over a half hour before we got pissed and took off. Money well spent? ... I think not.

What day of the week is the pub crawl usually on. In the past it has been at the same time as the big concerts at La Vela.

Pub Crawl = lame
Beach Bash = lame rip-off

That is just my experience, obviously a lot of people are going to do it so you're not going to be alone, but my time and $40 would be better spent elsewhere.

me and 7 of my boys are coming over from ireland.....thinkin bout booking the boardwalk.....is the mtv buzz any good or is it the commercial side of the whole week? just wonderin would we be better off avoidin it and just partyin on the beach?

I would advice doing both! All the mtv stuff is concerts with HUGE name acts! So, there might be some artists you want to see, and some you dont! So, I would advice to pick and choose which ones you want. The boardwalk is going to be THE place to be during the day on the beach, that where mtv's stage is going to be set up, so even if you aren't going into the show, you will still be around a LOT of people partying on the beach!

The bad thing with the pub crawl is it starts kind of early and when we went, it took us to bars where our group was the only people there, not all bad, but it's not that great to walk into a completely empty place. It was literally like get on the bus, sit there for a minute drive to a bar, file off, drink two or 3 drinks, go to the next one and do the same thing. A couple chicks did flash our whole bus, but comparing it to night at La Vela or Spinnakers or Harpoon Harry's loses hands down.

If you're driving down, DO NOT speed coming over the bridge, whatever you do. State Troopers sit on the bridge and at both ends. I think everytime I go across the Hathaway Bridge someone is pulled over, thats year around too...

Yeah, not to mention PC cops sit on the PC side, and sometimes on the east bound side(at the top). And then the sheriffs as-well, And then you have the state troopers..

You forgot to mention though, The sheriffs office has an undercover Ford Expedition that they use in that area quite often, the Panama City cops too..

So, yeah, just be careful in that area...
