Icon7 Spring Break Tips: Get Every Dollars Worth

I have found these tips all over the internet (alot of them are on the Tripsmart.com Party Map), but some of them are things that I have learned at PCB (Panama City Beach) !!!

1. Most of the Action during the day is on the Beach behind the super clubs and larger hotels (especially Sunspree and Holiday Inn) Tons of free stuff handed out (t-shirts, hats, CONDOMS, etc)

2. The Super Clubs LaVela and Spinaker are right next to each other. Around 7-8pm go to Lavela it only cost $5 to get in. Get your hand stamped and hed over to Spinnakers. It also cost $5-$10 to get in. Go in get your hand stamped and then leave. You can go back any time you want if you r over 21 and not have to stand in the long lines. Also after 9pm both clubs can charge from $20-$35.

3. The more girls you bring on stage with you during wet t-shirt contest and booty shaking conest the better chance you have to win (free bar tabs, free club entry, and stuff like that) ( + = ) any questions.

4. The hotest hang out spot in the early evening is Front Beach Road. Everyone cruises down the strip hanging out, flashing body parts, and playing loud music. It is a lot of fun. You can still be cool even if you rin a hoopty!!!!!

5. Anything you wear to a foam party will not likely make it through the night!!!!!! wear something you don't want to keep or as little as possible...

More to come and please if you have something to add........

Joe

1. Condoms - Do not get caught with out one in your pocket......... It may bite you in the *** later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Make sure all the people that are traveling with you like the same stuff. I know that there is one person in your group that you are thinking.... S#$t, why did I invite him? Well it’s not to late to tell him it was canceled . The reason I say this is, if you and him and/or her do not like the same thing you are going to fight and it will ruin your spring break......

3. This is really REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are going with your boyfriend and/or girlfriend or Girlfriends……. STOP!!!!! Make sure you and her or him or both are all on the same page. Some one is going to grab them and try to hit on them. And if your other half is drunk and they might flirt back (DON’T GET MAD). It is going to happen. There are so many break ups and couple fights on Spring break it is ridicules. Everyone is drunk and probably does not know she/he/both are with you. Play it cool and have a good time.

4. Dress to impress!!!!!!! Some clubs will not let you in certain rooms if you are not to sexy people standards. The P Kat lounge is only for 21+ and people dressed up. I don’t mean a suit, but nice shoes, slacks, and a button up (a belt is a plus)…..

5. Don't get into a fight!!!! no mater how drunk you are don't fight just walk away.... They are really strick and you will spend your Spring Break in Jail. Just walk away and offer them a bear!!!!!

More to come……..

Talking

More

1. Most Spring Breakers will have a full Kitchen in their rooms. The best place to by food is at the Wal-Mart on Front Beach Rd. However during Peak Week it can be very hectic. So try the less popular Target on Back Beach Rd. It will be less crowded.

2. If you want to get close to the celebrates the best place to go on a Tues or Thur is LaVela’s. After the MTVu concerts in the afternoon are over, MTVu usually takes its celebrities over to LaVela’s pool side deck to shoot commercials and TV spots. You won’t be able to get right up on them (unless you are a beautiful woman and then you will be sitting at there feet) but you will be able to get close and be on MTV.

3. If you are under 21 ….. Do not get caught drinking outside…… Drink in your rooms and if you have to drink outside then stick to mixed drinks. Take a 20 ounce soda and drink half and fill the other half with what ever. The cops usually won’t bother you if you do this. They are not going around smelling 50,ooo bottles!!!!!

4. Spring Break parties are only as big as you make them!!!!!!!!!! So Party Big!!!!!!!!!! Volunteer for everything and I mean everything. There will be planned events all day long from…… wet t-shirt contest and tug of war to obstacle courses and mud wrestling. Do it all!!!!

5. If a promoter offers you free stuff…….. Take it!!! You may have to fill out a couple papers here and there, but who cares……….. You will be so drunk by that point you won’t even remember your real name any way. The best promotion booth is the Trojan Condom Booth (Usually set up outside LaVela). They will give out free condoms, but you have to play their games to get them. However if you win you can get the ultimate prize… The vibrating condom or the visor what ever you prefer……..

Promise there is still more to come….

Lightbulb More Tips For Panama City Beach

Even More

1. If you are staying at the Edgewater beach resort and further ( Casa Loma, Days inn, Fontainebleau, Chateau, etc) and you are in a hurry to get to the super clubs, but Front Beach Road is packed. Head down to Hutchinson Blvd aka, Middle Beach Rd, it leads right into Thomas Drive.

2. Did I mention always have a condom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or you will wind up with and she will be !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. MTVu is not the only concerts going on in Panama City Beach. Check the events schedule on this site or on the clubs sites for more concerts.

4. When booking your spring break room, make sure you book it in Panama City Beach and not Panama City. I got screwed my first Spring Break and we found our selves at a Budget Inn in Panama City, not Panama City Beach. When Panama City Hotels say close to the beach, they mean 6-7 miles……. Don’t be fooled. Also, check with your hotel or resort on their age policy. Some Resorts require you to be 25 years or older to check in……… They also may have a room deposit of up to $300 when you check in as well as additional fees that travel agents forget to tell you about.

5. I mentioned this before on another Thread, but the best after hour hang out place is " The Waffle House". Some of you may not know what this is, but you will. However, do not get it confused with the
Pancake house……. The pancake house is run by a religious group that will give you free morning pancakes if you confess your sins and accept the lord…… They have good intentions!!!!!! But I would not recommend eating the pancakes…….

If you have any tips that I did not think of please add!!!!! MORE TO COME

Joe

Lightbulb More Tips!!!!!!

Here are some more..........

1. The best way to get around Panama City Beach is by scooter . You will see hundreds of them driving around. You can’t miss them, people usually like to all join together and ride in packs of 30-40. However, be careful. Some of the scooter shops will try to rip you off. Make sure you inspect the bike before you take it and if you see anything wrong with it (dents, scratches......) make sure you tell them about it. They will blame you for it and keep your deposit of $200 . Some places have been charging people for the same scratches and there will be nothing you can do about it unless you let them know about it before you ride off!!!!!!

2. If you can get VIP access at Spinnaker night club, Ladies you have a better shot (unless guys, you are in the military . They love the army down there and they gave me VIP last year with my card) you get discounted drinks at the bar. It will save you a lot of money....

3. It does not say this on there web site, but you have to buy a ticket for Club La Vela's foam parties. I know they list it as one of their rooms, but it is actually an additional fee .

4. Don't be fooled!!!!!! I know that most of the La Vela and Panoramic Party Cards say that you get free beer between 7pm-9pm, but LaVela and Spinnaker actually gives everyone free beer from 7pm-9pm (most of the time). You get one plastic cup when you enter the club and u can refill this cup with as much beer as you can drink up until 9pm. Spinnaker actually lets you choice between beer and Rum punch!!!!!! It is not the card that gets you the drinks ...................

5. Make sure you purchase beads (mardi-gra beads) before you head down. You will save money, because they are kind of over priced when you get there and guys don't just give them away .............

6. The bars at La Vela get really packed on the first floor and basement levels. If you want a quick drink, try the second floor lounges. They are usually less crowded.

OK that’s it for now, but don't worry there will be more to come!!!!!!!!!!

Important Must Read!!!

MAKE SURE, MAKE SURE, MAKE SURE THAT IF YOU GO TO A FOAM PARTY AND MUST BRING A CELL PHONE AND/OR CAMERA THAT YOU PUT IT IN A DOUBLE ZIPPED LOCK BACK. I was the smart one last year and did just that . Dont end up like 99 percent of everyone that went to a foam party with a screwed up cell phone or camera. Protect it!! These foam parties aren't like getting a little foam on you like when you wash your hands or do dishes, you come out of it soaking and dripping wet like you just dove in a pool and got out.

Sunscreen is important, the sun is very powerful down in Florida and when you're on the beach all day getting drunk you don't want to regret the sunburn later.

If you don't like lines buy a VIP pass to Spinnakers, because that will get you in the place in 2 seconds. They're only like $60, and good for the whole week. I personally hate standing in line for an hour. Also Spinnakers says they open at 7 pm, rarely do they. It is often 7:30. You might not think this is a big deal but if you're in the back of the line with 250 people in it and they take their sweet *** time checking ID's like they always do your 2 free hours of drinks from 7-9 just turned into a half hour.

The back entrance to Harpoon Harry's is often much faster than the front.

Hawaiian leis work very well, as good as mardi gras beads.

Pick up your trash on the beach!!!! There is a reason they have a million trash cans around.

Get yourself some vitamins and energy drinks for the week. They will help keep your immune system from getting drained and will help keep your energy up.

Take naps.

Watch girls ride the mechanical bull at Spinnakers

Girls: wear thongs, not the sandals.

Talking More tips!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Additions..........

I cant believe I forgot to add sunscreen to my list..... I came home after a week of no sunscreen and I was RED !!!!!!! And no mater how much you can drink at home, it is different drinking in the sun, and you will be praying to the porcelain god , so I agree that vitamin water and vitamin drinks are essential. Here are some more tips about getting rid of a hang over:

Get plenty of salt and potassium. Heavy drinking purges the body of these two important electrolytes, which together help transport and distribute nutrients and water throughout your body. To restock your body with these two essentials, try a sports drink (most contain ample amounts of both sodium and potassium), or eat a potassium-rich kiwi or banana and have a serving of broth made from bouillon cubes.
Fill up on fruit juice. Fruit sugar (fructose) is quickly absorbed into the bloodstream, so any kind of juice will give your energy level a big boost — fast. In addition, some studies have shown fructose to play a part in speeding up the rate at which the body eliminates toxins — including those from alcohol. Orange and tomato juices are good bets, since both are also rich in nutrients such as vitamin C.
Don't forget your B and C vitamins. Supplies of these two are severely depleted when you drink — thanks again to alcohol's diuretic effect #&151; so when you're consuming alcohol, your system needs these vitamins more than ever. There's no time like the morning after a big night out to load up on supplements. Better yet, get your dose naturally in a glass of fresh-squeezed fruit juice.
Caffeinate or pop a painkiller. Alcohol causes blood vessels to swell, which can also lead to serious head throbbing. Caffeine counteracts that, but since it's also a diuretic, limit yourself to just one cup of coffee. If that doesn't work, use ibuprofen, but skip aspirin — it could help heal your pounding head, but this over-the-counter drug is known for wreaking havoc on a tender tummy.
Stick to light, low-fat foods. Because alcohol can upset your digestive system, it's important to line your stomach with food while you're drinking and the day after, too. Plus, a balanced meal will help restore your nutrient supply. Just remember: No matter how tempting it may be, steer clear of fatty and/or fried food the morning after, because it'll only make your stomach feel worse.
