Panamaniac Card 07
Hey guys,
Most hotels have discounts with your wristband. They usually consist of half off, or you may get in for free at the club on there OFF DAYS. Which means there just not that busy. Sometimes you may get to a club like LaVela and they don't let anybody in for free once you get there (unless your a female). Also they only have a 1 hour window for you to get in. During that time they really drag the line. Usually they have 1 doorman checking ID, than when the free cover is over they have 6 checking. At that point then its $20-$30 cover to get in....NO THANKS!
Thats why I won't promote them. I have had too many people mad at me in the past, for sending them there, and not being able to get in. The hotel staff who told you about the wristband CAN'T and will not do anything about it. My point? Look at all your options. Then think about everything. What usually has more merit to it? Something that has no value? Or.... Something you pay for?
On Spring Break, you live and learn. You may fool people one day, but you won't fool them the next. Thats why the Panamaniac Card/Gold card has been in Panama for 22 years. People that bought it before, buy it again. I encourage people to ask the front desk of the Paradise Found Properties (Holiday Inn, Best Western, Paradise Found) Where the card is not permitted to be sold on property, about the club cards. Ask them to be honest, & off the record are the Panamaniac/Gold cards worth the money? They will say yes! (unless its the manager) He will say no. Thats only because he gets no money off the card!
Bottom Line is it's Spring Break! This is where they make there most money for the year.(bars, hotels, restaurants, stores) are there to maximize profits in a 6 week window. Thats business. No one makes money doing things for free. Just look at all your option, discuss it with your friends, than follow the game plan once your in town.
My goal is for everyone to leave at the end of the week and say they had the time of there life. I want them to go home and tell other people about it, and get them to come next year!
I hope things that I write are helpful to people and I would love to hear from anyone who has any questions or concerns.
cheers, Andy
