Thsi is when I am plannig nongoing, I knwo it's nto the busiest time to go but is anyone else goign aroudn this time? Is it any good, or is it totally dead?

It'll be pretty slow for the most part. You may find a party or two... or maybe a concert, but don't expect too much.

If you can stay through the 17th, DJ Trashy and DJ Fixx will be at Club La Vela. That would be a good time.

But, you should reschedule for March if you can.

ya, its a freaking ghost town until all the college people start arriving around the last week of february...i just turned 21 two days ago and im going down to the beach tonight. my only options are spinnaker, la vela (which sucks), coyote ugly or ms newbies

Yeah, it'll basically be all retired people down there at that time. We got there on February 27 or something one time, and it was all elderly people at our hotel. That was the Chateau too. They packed up and left by Monday, so they could get out of town before the bulk of the college students came, but they all go down there for the winter until the end of February. So unless you like to play lots of shuffleboard and partake in bingo nights, you might want to rethink when you are going.

I do know that english canadian universities are headed down to Panama City Beach with various vacation packages on the week of Feb 17th to Feb 24th. So if that can help you to stay down there an extra week...

I went last year for the Canadian spring break and it's not like the American one with all colleges but if you plan your outtings right and follow the group it can still be loads of fun. I enjoyed it quite a lot and heading down there again... but I must say the American one in March looks mighty interesting!!

Not to mention that the end of January and February are our coldest months here in PCB. Don't expect to go swimming!
