Spinnaker Beach
Well, MTVu apparently will not be behind The Summit this year and the Marketing company that ran all of the events behind Spinnaker did not get the space this year. We ended up working out a deal with The Spinnaker and we are renting a Stage, hiring a good DJ and Doing what we want out behind the Club. We also worked out a deal that allows 1000 VIP's. We are calling it "RockStar PCB". Look for our site next week. http://www.rockstarpcb.com We want to take Spring Break back and party on our own terms. This is going to be sweet! Give us some ideas on concerts, contests, etc. that anyone wants us to produce. We hope to get a few cool sponsors involved but nothing too "In your face" I'll keep you posted.

So, David, will there not be any booths set up outside your area?? I remember last year besides MTVu being set up, there were a number of other companies that had booths set up offering free goodies and competitions, etc. (Trojan, Citi, etc.)

hey if your looking for dj's i'm a professional dj for the last 7 years i specialize in house and trance but i have everything i have been MCing and djing strip clubs for the past 5 years on a daily basis and have host many contests and porn star features i have tons of experience i'll have my stuff down there w/ me and would love to do some **** just for the fun of it so contact me man doubt you'll find anyone with a better resume or experience

Everyone pretty much goes wild over contests, so the more the better; wet t-shirt, pudding wrestling, and musical chairs are always good (or anything that gets guys and girls to hook up for that matter)... and offer the winner like a $100 bar tab for Spinnaker to promote the place. Crowds also love free t-shirts, so I'd do something like "The TripSmarter.com Bikini Contest hosted by Spinnaker Beach Club" and have a spokes model do the "whooo wants a t-shirt!" thing. One thing that's very important is having a good spokes model to host everything... that's the reason La Vela's contests are so popular. Also, have loud top 40 music playing at a reasonably high volume because crowds tend to flock to music.
