Beach Houses?
All I hear about on here is the hotels. Which could be sweet, but on the other hand with a beach house you get more of your own area, no stairs, no security, your own kitchen. Also, the beach houses tend to be about a third or fourth the cost of hotels. That's what we did last year and it was tight. Yeah you pay more for cabs, but thats about the only problem. And no problems bringing other people back to the place.
Anybody else stay at beach houses on break? If you're looking for one www.vrbo.com has tons and it's easy to use. |

Ya thats tight and all but it seems like a hotel would be more fun, your right there in the action and around tons of other people there for the same reasons...
Maybe thats just me though.. Brad |

Change in Hotel
I was dead set on Days Inn which btw is a great place but we caught a much better deal just tonight at the Sunbird Condos right next to LaVela and Spinnaker. It was $248.12 for 4 days and 3 nights. So between the 4 of us its only $62.04 a peice with a full kitchen and everything. There was a gay $200 security deposit but if you put it on a credit card they don't charge it, they just hold it until you room clears with no damage when you leave then it gets taken off. On the upside we saved a ton of money which will go straight to our party fund of course, but I just hope I wont miss out on all the action. I'll miss being right next to Harpoon Harry, Hooters, Breakers etc.

Yea its gonna be my first time there. They claim they are next to the super clubs but there not. They are about a half a mile down the road. Here is the deal, anyone can pay for the hotel room but the person that lays down the reservation has to be at least 25. I don't have the number anymore but I got my friend to make the reservation who is 25 then he passed the phone to me for the billing info. Another words the person who is 25 doesn't have to be the one to pay for it, he/she just has to show up with a valid ID and there name for the reservation.

yea, we are staying at the Twin Palms condos. Everyone had to be 25, which we all are, but the places looked real nice and seem to be cheaper than most of what i've seen people talking about paying here. Although Daniel Lee seems to have gotten a lower price. Palms is in a real nice spot and it seems pretty plush. Everyone having to be 25 will keep a lot of people away though, i suspect.
