My friend and I went down to PCB for Spring Break last year and got the Panamaniac cards. We stayed for 5 days, we were both 21, and it seemed worth it to us.

This year we are returning with two girls who are still just 20. My question is, do you think the Panamaniac card is worth it for those under 21? I don't know what the cover charge is for the clubs, as I used the card, but I've heard that those under 21 can't leave and return.

Also, in another thread someone said that the "Free Beer For Two Hours" thing is for everyone, not just the Panamaniac Card members. Is this true?

Panamaniac Card users let me know if you thinik the card is worth it, for both those under and over 21. Thanks.

I think it is worth it for both. People under 21 will have to pay a higher cover. I know Harpoon Harry's is free re-entry for those under 21 as well as over. LaVela,Spinnaker and I think Hammerhead Fred's only allow re-entry for over 21. I'm not sure about Sharky's. People under 21 will pay at least $10 cover to get into the bars, and that's early in the evening. If they wait until later, it is even more expensive. The card is $40. You're guaranteed to save money even if you don't get the free beer. If you are over 21 it's still worth it if you follow the card every night. Some people don't want to have to follow a schedule, so they don't get it. I figure most people get the card, so most people will be where the card is scheduled anyways.

I work for Sunquest Promotions. Were the crew that sells you the card for the clubs. The difference is if your over 21 you will be getting free alcohol with the card, as you know. For the unders although they are not getting alcohol, (because they are minors) they are saving more because, there cover charges are generally higher for a minor. So they are saving a ton on covers!

They are always free with the card just like 21+ to enter the club that night.

Have you guys released this year's weekly schedules? I see there is a sample schedule, but I want to know what this year's is gonna be. Also isn't there usually other discounts besides just the free cover and free beer? I know in year's past there was discounts to local restaurants and stores and stuff. Are you guys gonna come around to all the big hotels or do we have to go to the Chateau to get the card?

We will be on the beach for sure, and we are at all the big hotels except for the Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn, and paradise found hotel. So if you dont have them, or you want them delivered to you just pre arrange for me to deliver them or meet up with you. Or just come to the chateau Motel anytime.

The schedule will be done by this weekend so I will post it when its ready and of coarse there will be great deals on stores, and restaurants as well.

Thanks for all the info. Looking forward to seeing the schedule. Last year I bought my card at Hammerhead Fred's - of course I don't know if they're even on the schedule this year, but I don't think it'll be hard finding a place selling a card. Less than a month left!

If you are staying at the Chateau just come see me on the pool deck and if your not staying there your more than welcome to come by as well. I work at the chateau 7 days a week during Spring Break at the Pool Deck.

The card in a nutshell gives you all you can drink 2 full hours during the day 2 full hours at night. The main thing it gives you is free cover into the clubs. Almost everyone on the beach buys the card $40.00. Without a card you will pay $10.00-$30.00 cover charge a night. The reason for the high cover?.... The bars own the card. They are giving you a chance to save on cover. If you don't get the card they fleece you at the door. Once the line up starts the cover charges go up by the minute.

Anyone who has been to Panama will agree to that.

Where you down selling cards around the Chateau last year as well???

does the card let you bypass the lines or do you still wait? is there another VIP card you can get to get past the lines?

Yes I have been selling cards at and around the Chateau for over 10 years. I am the longest serving member of the Sunquest Team and have been part of the managment team for the last few years.

For the other question No Panamaniac cards DO NOT bypass you through the lineups. The only cards that do are personal Club VIP Cards for there own clubs. For example you could buy a LaVela or Spinnaker Card for there club which would be $50-$60 each. It is only good for there club, and no free booze for 21+.

I just feel that for the Panamaniac Card/Gold Card you are getting more value, and more of the actual Spring Break. No one goes away to spend 5 or 6 nights to hang at 1 club. They want to hit 4,5,6 while there away.

Is the card perfect? NO Is it worth buying? YES Facts are facts 9 out of 10 people buy the card. Most people that don't buy the card the first night, look for it the next day, after the see the cover charges for the clubs.

Yeah the card is definately worth it. I'm pretty sure I bought one from you last year when we stayed at the Chateau.
