does anyone know if lattitudes will be open this year? i have a friend from tampa that has bartended at lattitudes just during spring for the last 2 years and he told me that he didnt get the call this year so he wont be there. he always mentioned that another guy that he worked with last year didnt get a call either. it will absolutely suck if this bar isnt open this year because it is one of the few bars down there that still lets everything get as wild as it wants to. i mean women on the bar dancing, the greatest wet t shirt contest in town(with no restrictions), and u cant beat the CHEAP draft beerstand set up away from the bar so you dont have to stand and wait forever just to get a beer. anyone that knows anything please reply.

I have to imagine that it's open because it is featured on the 2007 LaVela VIP card. If it was closed it wouldn't be on there. I agree, it is a great bar.

I tried to look on line for something and saw an article about a condo developer trying to buy them out. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I think its going to be another club gobbled up by Condo's!!!!!!

They are trying to get the bar open. As you know most of the bars on the strip have been sold. What that means is the developers of the property who are going to build condos lease the bar back to the prior ownership if they like. As of now nothing has been finalized and Lattitudes has not committed to the LaVela Card.

The Club LaVela card on there website is a sample but not the real deal. That is still pending. What they have done with there card is cleaver, but transparent. They have featured one of there bar rooms every night on the card. But its the same club. So if you like LaVela and want to party there every night... Buy there card. If you want to hit other clubs besides just there, than explore other options.

Lattitudes is not yet committed to open!
