Unless he can get wristband, he wouldn't be able to do that. I'm sure his friends would be more than willing to let him crash on the floor, but considering they're staying at the Summit thats just not possible, if they room already has the maximum guests allowed.
Your best bet, bud, would be to either A) have your friends cut off the excess of their wristbands to make you one, B) find someone here that isn't using all the wristbands provided to them and buy it off them or C) Go with your friends, have them check-in while you chill out on the beach with a beer. Then continue on with the days activities then have one of them go to the office at the Summit and say they lost their wristband, in which they will be charged $100 to get a new one. Then they can meet you back out on the beach, hand you the wristband, and then you can walk right in. Either option would work, it jus depends on what you prefer. |

Why are they so strict with the wristband thing? It seems like that's going to ruin a lot of partying in the hotels

It may ruin some fun if you have friends at another hotel or if you meet someone at a club and they don't stay at your place, but they are other ways to get around it. Just cram them into your car and have them duck on your way in.
As far as the summit goes, though, you WONT have a problem with partying. There are 15 floors and around 30 condos on each floor. Thats ALOT of people. I stayed there last year and the parties were non-stop. I can't wait til this weekend when we leave to go down there again! |
