Questions Regarding Hotel Wristbands & Panamaniac/gold Cards

Hey guys,

Most hotels have discounts with your wristband. They usually consist of half off, or you may get in for free at the club on there OFF DAYS. Which means there just not that busy. Sometimes you may get to a club like LaVela and they don't let anybody in for free once you get there (unless your a female). Also they only have a 1 hour window (6pm-7pm) for you to get in. During that time they really drag the line. Usually they have 1 doorman checking ID, than when the free cover is over they have 6 checking. At that point then its $20-$30 cover to get in....NO THANKS!

Thats why I won't promote them. I have had too many people mad at me in the past, for sending them there, and not being able to get in. The hotel staff who told you about the wristband CAN'T and will not do anything about it. My point? Look at all your options. Then think about everything. What usually has more merit to it? Something that has no value? Or.... Something you pay for?

On Spring Break, you live and learn. You may fool people one day, but you won't fool them the next. Thats why the Panamaniac Card/Gold Card has been in Panama for 22 years. People that bought it before, buy it again. I encourage people to ask the front desk of the Paradise Found Properties (Holiday Inn, Best Western, Paradise Found) Where the card is not permitted to be sold on property, about the club cards. Ask them to be honest, & off the record are the Panamaniac/Gold Cards worth the money? They will say yes! (unless its the manager) He will say no. Thats only because he gets no money off the card!

Bottom Line is it's Spring Break! This is where they make there most money for the year.(bars, hotels, restaurants, stores) are there to maximize profits in a 6 week window. Thats business. No one makes money doing things for free. Just look at all your options, discuss it with your friends, than follow the game plan once your in town.

My goal is for everyone to leave at the end of the week and say they had the time of there life. I want them to go home and tell other people about it, and get them to come to Panama City Beach the next year!

If you are staying at the Chateau Motel just come see me on the pool deck and if your not staying there your more than welcome to come by as well. I work at the chateau 7 days a week during Spring Break at the Pool Deck.

PANAMANIAC/GOLD CARD

The card in a nutshell gives you all you can drink 2 full hours during the day 2 full hours at night. The main thing it gives you is free cover into the clubs. Almost everyone on the beach buys the card $40.00. Without a card you will pay $10.00-$30.00 cover charge a night. The reason for the high cover?.... The bars own the card. They are giving you a chance to save on cover. If you don't get the card they fleece you at the door. Once the line up starts the cover charges go up by the minute.

Anyone who has been to Panama will agree to that!

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PANAMANIAC CARD & GOLD CARD?

The reason there are 2 cards is because, we sell so many we can't get everyone into the clubs with 1 card. Usually people on the west end of the beach get the Panamaniac Card. The east side of the beach is given the Gold Card. They just flip flop the schedule. Same bars, same discounts, just different nights. Some bars will honour both cards.

For example.... If the Panamaniac Card had Harpoon Harrys on it for Monday night, and you had a great time, if the Gold Card is at Harpoons on Tuesday night, and you want to go again. Just show them your Panamaniac Card and you can get in with the Gold Card people.

NOTE: Please check with the bar prior, to see if the will honour the opposite card that night!!

I hope things that I write are helpful to people and I would love to hear from anyone who has any questions or concerns. Please feel free to e-mail me anytime. I look forward to meeting many of you on Spring Break!

cheers, Andy

REMINDER: All PANAMANIAC CARDS & EVENT TICKETS can be purchased at the Chateau Motel Pool Deck (beside Harpoon Harrys) DURING SPRING BREAK ONLY!

You can really use the Panamaniac Card on the Gold Card night? Are sure about that? Because if you can, that is awesome!

I can vouch for everything he said. I've been to PCB 4 times and I've gotten the Panamaniac Card every year. They're a great deal. The only negative is if you hook up with someone else who has the same card, you're gonna have to see them every night there after because they'll be the same place you are. I guess that's the price you have to pay.

Harpoon Harry's is favorite anyways. I'd be happy going to Spinnaker's and Harry's every night.

I've been in contact with you via email (steve_4078@hotmail.com).

meliss_880 is on a distinguished road
so you said that depending on what side of the beach your on, you could either be sold the gold card or the panamaniac card? i was wondering because me & my friends are at the paradise found & we have other friends staying at the sandpiper! do you think we'll get the same cards?
also i was wondering how far away the hotels are from eachother, how many minutes would it take to walk from one to the other?

Completely agree with Steve-O, been the past 4 years, not sure if we will be able to make it this year, but I would be happy going to Harpoon Harry's and Spinnaker everynight. The card is def worth it, and if I remember correctly last year most of the bars honored both cards.

Panamaniac/Gold Card

Hey guys,

Thanx for the positive feedback!

Mel... It is up to you which card you get. I would recommend the Panamaniac Card for you, because at your end of the beach thats what everyone will be buying. That is also the same for the Sandpiper Gang.

I encourage you to send me an e-mail with the dates you will be there and we can arrange to get you guys Club Cards if you are interested in them. Unfortunately Sunquest Staff are not stationed at either of those properties. But you are next to the Chateau so you may purchase them there at the pool deck, or we can deliver them to you.

I look forward to hearing from you....

Cheers, Andy

Paradise Found to Sandpiper is not a walkable distance. The Sandpiper is really far from everything.
