Five friends and I waited until today (Feb 18) to book our hotel for SB. The only two places that had rooms left were Casa Loma and The Sunbird Suites.

We ended up booking at The Sunbird Suites.
Has anyone stayed there before? Is it a good location? Anything will help. Thanks.

Seems like there will be a few people at the Sunbird Suites. I hope it turns out to be a good place to stay...

Never stayed there before but I think it looks like a nice place and good location. It may not be as wild as many of the other hotels and condos but If I had to choose between those places I would go with the sunbird for sure. I've been to pcb the past 4 years but only stayed at the boardwalk hotel.

We have stayed at the sunbird for 4 out of the last 5 years we have been to Panama, We really have never seen many college kids when actually at the condo, but when we are on the beach behind there is usually a few. It sounds like there will be more this year. It is a great location, great prices, and nice condo. It is really close to la vela and that whole scene. We will have 7 there.

Nothing but trouble. DO NOT DO IT. We haven't even been here for 5 hours and we have a two warnings. If we get three we are kicked out and fined. DO NOT BRING A KEG ON PROPERTY. DO NO LEAN OVER RAILING. NO BEER BONGS. if you break any of that you are instantly kicked out.

thats a load of bull. they better relax when i get there. nick get the staff drunk or laid or high or something. that sucks buttox.

nick, do they have grills out on the balcony? It would be nice to have some burgers and/or a good steak.

No grills. But it has got better. We got to know the security guards quick. Just be nice... try to be OVERLY respectful... i have seen at lest 10 groups of people get kicked out. I feel so bad for them. Its a very lame place to stay for SB... but the location is good. We have just been using the room to eat sleep and rest. good luck

how effing lame. you pay something in the neighborhood of a G to get treated like that for a week. lame.

it may suck but i'm happy that i'm saving a lot more money than what i could have paid for holiday inn or days inn. now i have more left over cash. but hell, next i'll pay more for a better hotel experience. i'll see ya there nick on thursday. take it easy.

**** THE SUNBIRD....We have stayed there for 4 years now and have never had a problem. This year we got hasseled so much it wasnt even funny. They tried to evict us everyday we were there. They tried everything to get us out of there but roborentacop just couldnt get it done. The security guards were walkin around asking every regular that stayed at the sunbird if they wanted us out of there. The only problem was that we made friends with most of the older guests there. Just to let you know we had state police workin on our side with the harrasment problems and as of right now we are back from spring break and workin on gettin the security guard wit the glasses that looked like white trash fired. We have pictures of him drinkin on the job with some ***** wearing his security uniform. If anyone would like to see the pictures and also write a letter to management to get this guy fired feel free to let me know. The more letters they get the more opt they will be to fire him. We saw many kids spring breaks get ruined. and this ******* has to go. He specifically told us that his goal was to kick as many underagers out as possible.

we got to know that ****ing rent-a-cop... he stalked us. he always tried to come up and have a beer with us... he got one of my friends numbers and has called him twice since we have gotten home.
