This is my first year going to PCB and being old enough to drink . Basically I want to have a huge party sometime during the week but I've never stayed at the Summit. I have a few questions about throwing a party. What is the best day? What time? In the room or on the beach? Beer of liquor? Should I bartend or is it too much of a hassle? Should it be BYOB? I got to work along side a bartender over my summer and winter break so I developed a wicked repertoire of mixed drinks . Most of what I make is strong as hell and really ****ing good. Anyways, I am needing advice for trying to throw some type of party while I'm down there. Any feedback will be helpful to me .

Granted I've never thrown a party in PCB, but I have thrown a few in my day and my houghts would be this:

Any weekday would probably work, although people are more likely to have something planned on a Friday, I would think. Also, you want to pick a time that isn't too early, but not too late that ppl planning to come might get drunk and opt to not make it. so say 1-3 pm.

If you do it on the beach you're more likely to get some stragglers (which is good) and less likely to have someone cost you your room deposit.

also, probably mostly beers and a few bottles and tell others if they want something special to bring it, or to bring a 12er or a case just to contribute. Unless of course you want to drop an absolute grip on booze for a party that is tentative at best.

Thanks for the tip Pman. Friday does sound like the best day, and I would defintely like to do a party around 1-3. I'll do it on the beach and make it a jungle juice party. That way if anyone else wants to bring something they can add it to the mix. Only problem now is getting people to bring something w/o breaking the glass bottle law. I guess we could also have beer.

BYOB or else you're going to be kicking out a lot of $$$...unless you have the money of course... :D

jello shot party sounds awesome. i'll be getting down there with a friend monday morning. let's all bring some stuff and tear it up on the beach monday afternoon. i'll be staying at the boardwalk which is close enough to the summit, so behind either place works for me.

Definitely gonna be crazy, we will have to figure something out. Let's plan on doing that after you guys get settled in. Let me know how many shot you are making and my room will match it.

That sounds awesome. We should do my party on thursday at noon. I stay at the Summit. I'll be serving jungle juice out of a cooler and long islands from a pitcher.
