SB07!

Well, well... the great weather continues! Looks like it might rain a little tomorrow or Friday, but highs should stay in the 60s and 70s with plenty of sun for the next 10 days.

The big crowds still aren't here, but we expect tons of students to start arriving this weekend.

Almost all the clubs are open now.... Club La Vela, Spinnaker, Latitudes, Coyote Ugly, Hammerheads, Harrys, etc.

We've already had one student return and post her Spring Break pics (thanks meliss880!)

The promotions and events on the beach are still being set up and the beach behind the clubs and some hotels should be full of tents and booths by the weekend.

Groove Merchants this weekend at Spinnaker.
UNK will be in concert next week at Club La Vela.
MySpace will be at Hammerhead Fred's next week.

We'll try and get some pics today if there's anything exciting going on. As nice as the weather is right now, there should be something happening!

What time are is that pic taken at from Spinnaker's camera?? Everytime I click on it I see no one on the beach like today. Is it bad weather or is it really this slow the last week of Feb?

looks like pretty chilly and rainy until the weekend is over down there! Nice weather from tuesday forward, real nice!!!

Sorry for the delay everybody...........

I attached some pics we took Friday after eating lunch at Hooters (sorry for the poor quality - we used a cell phone). You can see the giant slide that's set up behind Latitudes. You can also see the event stage they're building behind Harpoon Harry's.

We drove by Hammerhead's at lunch today and they've got tons of stuff set up (party tent, booths, etc)

We had a bit of cool weather this weekend, BUT it's warming up (almost 70 today!!!) and looks lke it will be sunny for the next several days...

Randy from Club Hour is heading out to Harpoon Harry's tonight from 7-8 pm for a "Club Hour Party" - something new they are trying with Harpoon Harry's and Spinnaker. After Harry's, they'll make their way down to Spinnaker around 9-10pm.

I talked to Andy last week and tomorrow's Pub Crawl already had 9 buses confirmed! Tripsmarter and Club Hour are tentatively scheduled to join the Pub Crawl on 3/13... so if you go, make sure you find us and come say HI! If the weather sucks that night, we may reschedule for 3/20.

We got our Lil' Jon VIP tickets confirmed today and possibly might have some extra to use as giveaways... stay tuned for that!

There really aren't very many students here right now... but the ones that are here are having fun!

This week (first official week of SB) is typically a little slow, but big parties CAN be found. Just have to be ta the right place at the right time.

Next week is when all the crazy stuff starts! It'll be shoulder-to-shoulder in all the clubs pretty much every night. Everywhere will be one huge party!

We're looking forward to meeting you guys on the 12th... hope everyone that can make it shows up!

How about in the Summit area? Is much set up behind there? I've been looking on the Spinnaker Beach Cam but nothing new has been set up since the early weekend. Last year there was tons of booths in that area. (I guess most of those were related to MTV) but still I hope it will be crowded like last year on the beaches behind the SUmmit.

There's actually quite a bit of stuff just out of frame of the Spinnaker web cam (to the left - behind Summit). Several booths & tents and a stage that will probably be used for the Rockstar promotions and events.

It's not going to be as packed as last year with mtvU, but there will still be plenty of action behind the clubs.

It looks to me now like most of the promotions on the beach are preparing to start THIS weekend, rather than last weekend like I posted earlier.

alright im a first timer to this whole pcb spring break deal...me and some buddies are heading that way from kentucky the 17th-21st....we're staying at the Paradise Found Resort...can nebody give me some info on how that place is, like is it a nice place or fun at all, does it get crazy , and give me some tips on how to have the best time ever down there if at all possible...what's probably the best amount of $ to bring....i wanna make this a trip ill never forget...thanks!

Hey fellas, my best friend is getting married on the 17th of March and I have to throw him a bachelor party with a friend from Panama City. I am in San Francisco right now, arriving the thursday before. Bachelor party thursday night, any ideas? We are going to start in the afternoon and obviously go all night!!!! Hard to plan from here, any help would be appreciated.

THE WEATHER IS PERFECT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s for the next 10 days!!! A small chance of rain around the middle of next week, but sunny and warm the rest of the time!

To all you guys and girls leaving today or this weekend - drive safe, have a great time while you're here and hopefully we'll see everyone on Monday at jseales' party behind the Boardwalk!

This weekend marks the beginning of PEAK WEEKS! Are you ready?!?!?!?!

We haven't had many chances to get out this past week (we've got a huge redesign deadline coming up). But, next week, we'll be on the beach as much as possible, at the Lil Jon concert, the Pub Crawl, some beachside contests and who knows where else?! Plus, Club Hour resumes their full Spring Break shooting schedule next week, so we'll tag along with them whenever we can!
