Looks like I really missed out on a great spring break this year in pcb. Next year we won't wait till the last minute like this year. On a side note, does anyone know why Verizon Wireless stopped doing spring break? First 3 years they were always there and looks like the past 2 they stopped coming?

I know there has been much debate
on the best party hotels in Panama City Beach!!!! On the top of the list is the Boardwalk Beach Resort, well I found out just how wrong that was!!! Here is my review of The Boardwalk Beach Resort Condo’s……Resort: Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was clean and the pool was always warm. I did not like the 7 person in the 15 person hot tub rule. If there were more then 7 in the hot tub they made people get out. NOT COOL!!!!! The activity center never had any activity, and I thought it was stupid to have so many old people conventions during peek week of Spring Break. Overall the resort gets 8 out of 10 pointsRoom: We had an amazing 3 and ˝ bedroom condo that was over 1900 SQ feet. (will post pics) There were 3 bathrooms, 2 balconies, and a full Kitchen and a half kitchen in the 3rd bedroom. This could have easily been considered a penthouse at most resorts. The kitchen had marble countertops, full fridge (plenty of room for liquor), large microwave, and electronic stove top. The room was just to over the top to find words!!!!!!!! I promise to have some pics up soon, so you can see what I am talking about. Overall the rooms get an easy 10 out of 10 points.Service: Horrid service . The check in process was slow and aggravating. A horrible way to start of Spring Break! We got to the Check in counter at 4pm (check in time) and we were told are room was not ready. They gave us a pass to go over to the resort and relax until its was ready. OK, cool. We then waited 2 hours for our room to be ready. Hello, we just got done a 20 hour road trip and had not showered in a day. Do you think I want to walk the beach with Stank ***** syndrome??????? !!!!! When we finally got into our room, there was a problem. Our 3rd bedroom was a studio with two entrances. One that was outside and one connecting the whole condo. Well no one (including the hotel staff) could get into the room. The door locks were broken and they only had one maintenance person for 4 properties . Needless to say we did not get into the last room till about 8:30pm. Also they over booked the condo, so some people were actually told they had to go to one of there other properties 15 blocks away. Overall the service gets 2 out of 10 points.Security: I really have no complaints about security. They did come up to our room once and ask us to turn down the music a little, but they did not ask us to turn it off. They were cooperative with us. The only issue I did have, is they would stalk you if you brought a drink in the hot tub . You could not have a drink within 3 feet of the pool or tub. If you wanted to bring someone up to the room you could just have them walk into the front door. There was no security at the front door!!!! Overall the security gets 6 out of 10 points. Spring Break Activities: This is what we are all there for…… and there were none. They did have a Lil Jon concert at the hotel, but the condos were not happening. However, the beaches behind the condos were always packed with Spring Breakers and it was a great place to meet people. Overall the spring break activity get’s 4 out of 10. The Condo’s were great, but not Spring Break material. It is too big and spread out, so people can not really interact. The Boardwalk Hotel is a much better spring break place then the condos. If you are looking for a relaxing place to go after the clubs and get quite then the condos are for you . If you want the best spring break experience (hotel wise) try the Boardwalk hotel, Sunspree, or Cheatu!!!!! Overall I give the Boardwalk Beach Resort Condo’s 8 out of 10.Hexxx, can I tell your story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I frequented the Summit this year, but didn't really see much happening. Everything went down on the Beach. The Playstation stage was behind it and they had some classic contest, but from what I have read playstation has packed it up.... Seeing how you are coming so late into Spring Break there won't be much left. However, the super clubs and Hammerhead Fred’s should be the place to be. So it’s good that you are around those clubs at the Summit. In other words, it’s up to you to make the Summit a great party hotel. Summit gets 5 out of 10, until you get there and makes it 10 out of 10!!!!!!! Have fun

I guess third time is a charm, because this was my best spring break ever. I stayed at the Summit and I have to say it beats the hell out of staying at Beachbreak by the Sea. We had a master bedroom with a full bathroom, a half bathroom, two bunk beds, fully stocked kitchen, and a living room with two couches and a full entertainment system. We brought down our own food and bought meat and perishables at Walmart. About 5 out of the 7 nights, we made our own meals and it was so much cheaper than eating out. When I say meals I mean real home cooked meals like fajitas, jerk chicken, and rigatoni with home made sauce.
The sight seeing was pretty cool. I went snorkeling with some company called Island Time. We picked up some really cool stuff such as a sea urchin, sea cucumber, and horse shoe crab. I saw some dolphins but unfortunately I didn't get to swim with any. I also visited the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum on Front Beach Rd. That place was awesome and totally worth checking out. The liquor supply was so plentiful, we really only needed beer at the clubs, but we kept a case anyways to mix things up. Brought down 13 bottles and came back with two. Our room should have basically had a giant VIP sign, we had so many parties. Jello shots, jager bombs, long islands, mai thai, jungle juice, and open bar night. Did some pretty outlandish **** this week. Kings is so much better to play when you have jungle juice. Jager bombs with sparks really mess you up and are a lot cheaper than red bull. Just what ever you do be careful about bonging them. The night life was pretty good. I had the panamaniac card is totally worth it. You get free drinks pretty twice a day almost everyday. Following the drink specials pretty much guaranteed with clubs would be packed. I tipped probably less than 20 the whole week but I made such good friends with the bartenders that it didn't matter. Talk to the during the day and tip them big at night and you are gold, they will remember you. Only regret I had was not going to the young joc concert. But $30 is still alot of money to shell out for a 45 minute performance. I didn't stay at the foam party for long, but that's ok because I met an amazing girl. We went back to the Sandpiper Beacon and danced at the tiki bar. Then we talked in her room while I sobered up. This girl is amazing, I found out she lives in Ohio as well. We had dinner the next night and we talked some more. I have her number and we have stayed in touch so I hope something becomes of that. Well I hope that I can go one more time. But if not I don't care, this was by far the best spring break ever. I made tons of new friends, saw amazing things, and ate, drank, and partied like a rock star. Pretty much everything (except the car ride which wasn't that bad) felt like a first class experience while we only used a third class budget. I planned this vacation very far in advance to leave no room for error. No kidding I booked as soon as I got back last year. Got an amazing deal thanks to studentbreaks.com. Hopefully, they will give me just as good a deal for next year. |

Great review
. Unfortunately I might get a little fired if I do. Oh well, I am going to start planning next years trip next week . This time I am going to give my friends a payment plan and will not be giving refunds !!!! I guess I am going to get the 3 ˝ bedroom at the Boardwalk again. You can’t beat the location. I am also planning on staying for 2 weeks next year instead of one. OK, Ill stay 1 ˝ weeks!!!!! Hell, If MTV backs out again, I may go down there with a stage and put on day time concerts with local bands and New Jersey Underground performers . (will call it Jersey Stock 2008) !!!!!!!!! OK, I am out for the night, but I will be back tomorrow with even more Reviews and Photo’s!!!!!As for now the Sun is setting on Spring Break 2007...... Peace |

Spring Break 07 review
The 14 men and 2 women crew from Berea, KY is arriving back tonight after a week in PCB... We stayed at the summit, in the penthouses on floor 15 which I have to say very very nice, except for the broken things due to spring breakers from earlier in the month, so that was expected... The big downers to start out with was the fact that we were down there from March 31 - April 7, otherwise known as High School Week, and they had it packed down there, so we had to put up with cocky as underaged kids all week, that just pissed us off, but we did meet a few cool people down there. The weather was ok, we had a pretty cool week, but still gave us a lot of nice days drinking on the beach which is going down as a new favorite pasttime of mine. The bars were fun, I went to Coyote Ugly and it was pretty packed... Ended up scoring a 7 out of 10 from me, not to shabby, everyone is sexy can't go wrong there... I am going to give the trip a 6.5 out of 10 because I was sick for two days and lost my wallet including my ID, Debit Card, and other things, so I was sort of handicapped by day 5, but oh well, still had a lot of fun, and have good memories and stories from PCB 07.... Pic's will be coming....
