SB07!

Here we go again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's really still a little early, but we've had several requests to start the SB Report now... so, without further delay:

We just returned from Spinnaker and they have a few tents & booths set up on the beach. Looks like several more are in the process of being constructed and erected (including a big stage behind Spinnaker). Check out the Spinnaker Spring Break Beach Live Cam to keep an eye on the progress!

BUT, there's nothing really going on right now on the beach. It looks like the vendors behind the superclubs are preparing to begin full Spring Break operations THIS weekend.

Some of the clubs are open at night (like Club La Vela, who started their full SB schedule this past weekend) and there are a handful of students in town from mostly Canadian schools (you canuks really get out too early... you should speak to your prime minister or whatever you have up there and demand a Spring Break in March, eh?!)

We did see a bus full of students pull up to Club La Vela and they all got out and went inside... not sure what that was about, but maybe they are having their Beach Party today? We'll try and find out.

Hammerhead Fred's has the legendary Party Tent set up for SB07! You have to visit this place at least once while you're here... go either on a Foam Party night or on the Panamaniac Card night. Either of those are sure to be a great time!

BIG NEWS this week is Boardwalk has announced Lil Jon in concert with The BME Click on March 12th. That should be one of the highlights of SB07 and if you're in town that week I highly recommend getting tickets ASAP!

is that rockstar thing related to the drink?

Quick question about the whole Rockstar thing: In order to partake or watch any of the events that goes on there, do you have to have a rockstar pass or is it open to the public. Basically, will it be roped off or gaited in?

I have never wanted a spring break as bad as I want this one.

I second that. I keep looking at that picture above thinking about being on the beach and not freezing my marbles off every time I go outside.

Anyone know what night Hammerheads does thier Foam Party?

I think the foam party is Thursday.

I was wondering about the rockstar thing too. I don't think I'm going to get the pass. The Panamaniac card is a better deal in my opinion. I think with the pass you get VIP access, but the beach activities are open to everyone. I'm not sure though. I emailed the guy about it, but he didn't answer the question. I guess I'll find out in a few days.

The foam party is on Thursday nights from 8pm - 2am according to the Panamaniac card schedule.

Yea I don't care to much about the whole rockstar event. $50 for a pass to do and see stuff that you can all over the beach, no thanks. From what I gather its basically hosted and put together by college students and there is no main event, just whatever they wanna do on stage I guess which you will find all over the place anways.

so far I am trying to catch the opening games of the Tournament, some sort of contest, Latittudes for 25cent beers and now this... Friday morning golf is going to be vomit filled, thats for sure!!

Hehe and don't forget there is also a Myspace party at Hammerhead fred's on Thursday afternoon 15th. I might attend, for now I'll just play it by ear.

Yeah I might check out the MySpace thing next week. It's right by our hotel, so I might wander over there. I'll let you guys know if it's worth checking out.

Doesn't Lattitudes have 25 cent drafts every night at a certain time? Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought they had cheap beer at certain times every night.

Oh yea, I knew there was something else... the Myspace thing. I was just going to go to that because I figured they'd be giving out a ton of free stuff.

As for Latittudes, I heard it was just Thursdays that they were .25cents but I could be wrong. just going on what I think I heard on here.
