I've been watching the weather channel here up in Iowa and it looks like the storms in the south are really bad today. Just heard one tornado hit a high school in Enterprise, Al, and the whole area is under a high risk for large damaging tornadoes today. Looks like most of the storms have stayed just north of the Florida line for now. www.nws.noaa.gov has some good info.

Ya, we're supposed to get some serious storms here in Panama this evening.
P.S. Lake of the Ozarks is the most badass place to be during 4th of July. I would highly recommend it to anyone....with a big boat. |

There has also been a confirmed tornado tuchdown in Pintlala, AL ( about 10 minutes away from where I work at in downtown Montgomery) but no information as of this moment on damages. Godspeed to the children and parents of Enterprise, AL. |

Thanks. Things didn't get too bad here. Just a lot of rain. There is still a possibility of tornado's just south of me. Too bad that the weather station is too concerned with showing American Idol than covering these storms. They are going off air at 7. |
