Tornados

I heard there have been Tornados in Kansas, Missouri and Alabama as well as sever weather all over the midwest and south.

Here's hoping all of our friends in those areas are safe.

I've been watching the weather channel here up in Iowa and it looks like the storms in the south are really bad today. Just heard one tornado hit a high school in Enterprise, Al, and the whole area is under a high risk for large damaging tornadoes today. Looks like most of the storms have stayed just north of the Florida line for now. www.nws.noaa.gov has some good info.

We had some high winds and hail last night where I'm at and in the very southern part of Missouri a tornado hit a trailer park and killed a little girl.

Ya, we're supposed to get some serious storms here in Panama this evening.

P.S. Lake of the Ozarks is the most badass place to be during 4th of July. I would highly recommend it to anyone....with a big boat.

According to the weather forcasts everything will be out of the area after tonight. The drive from Michigan should be perfect the whole way down.

Enterprise High School in Alabama was hit with a tornado...students injured...they say it's worse than any hurricane damage. Our reporter that is there says it looks like a war zone. There may be some deaths.

Yasamie Richardson, a spokeswoman with the Alabama Emergency Management Agency, now confirms 8 fatalities at the high school in Enterprise, AL.

This information is just coming into the state’s EMA.

She believes there are students AND teachers among the dead.

Officials confirm there are still people trapped at the high school.

Thanks. Things didn't get too bad here. Just a lot of rain. There is still a possibility of tornado's just south of me. Too bad that the weather station is too concerned with showing American Idol than covering these storms. They are going off air at 7.

Looks like the severe storms and tornadoes are starting to creep into the panhandle of florida.

I was up in Enterprise earlier today, crazy stuff. I know i'm a lil late on this but figured i'd say my part. We're donating a lot of water at work and some other stuff, goodluck to all the folks in Enterprise though.
