SB Numbers
I know there was another "numbers" thread, but I couldn't find it. This is based on a 7 day stay.
You have: 168 hours of vacation --> 10080 minutes 10 beers a day is 70 beers --> 3 cases @ $15/case = $45 3 meals/day = 21 meals @ $5/meal = $105 30 minutes/meal = 10.5 hours eating or .063 of your SB Average line to clubs is 30 minutes - 1 hour at each club (sometimes longer) or .003 - .006 of your SB. You should go to a club every night so this comes to .021 - .056 of your SB, if you only go to 1 club a night. 7pm - 9pm is free if you're over 21, I believe, after that price starts at $10 and goes up. So that is anywhere from $0 - $70 (without the infamous cards) If you sleep 8 hours/day you use .333 of your SB If you go to the beach from 10am - 4pm each day, you'll spend .25 of your SB at the beach If you got the club from 10pm - 4am each day, you'll spend .25 of your SB at the club At least half the trip will be worthwhile If you do it right, you'll only spend about .006 at Wal-Mart or wherever getting supplies So with .25+.25+.333+.056+.063+.006 = .958 of your SB figured out for you where will you spend the rest of it? Probably relaxing, getting ready and talking with people you met at your hotel. Make sure you get the most out of the big 50% of your SB. No whining, no *****ing. This is the week you shut your mouth and do it. As you can see, time is limited.

need to factor in the price of vokda, jager, bourbon.. etc etc...
i think me and the 5 of my friends brought down over 500 dollars of booze. not too bad, we bought more during the week, but its equivalent to 100 dollars a person or so.. |

well I left out the price of alcohol because I know we have some hard asses on this board
If you drink 10 beers a day - which for most is casual drinking on the beach during the day and maybe one or two when you get to your condo - comes to about 70 --> 3 cases --> about $45 If you get a 2 bottles of hard stuff, girls seem to like the Blue UV --> that will run you about another $35 If you're gonna mix that with red bull, which isn't bad but its gonna be about $2/can so if you have 2 a day that will be about $30 After all this drinking you shouldn't need to spend much more than $20/day at the club. ---> $140 Remember you don't need to be passed out drunk to have a good time, you just want that good buzz, and if you lose that good buzz it only takes a couple drinks to get it back. Obviously this depends on if you're buying shots and high price drinks or beer. That comes to about $250, obviously a lot of that can go on the credit card, unless you're underage and need someone to buy for you. And then you'll be substituting the $140 with much cheaper alcohol in your room. Plus, if you get most your food at Wal-Mart or eat cheaply when you go out you won't spend that much on food. I plan on getting a lot of cold cuts and some Tombstone pizza's. I believe I'll find better things to do than waste hours of time sitting at some fancy restaurant. Also, I'm not gonna go shopping much, except for maybe a hat. So if you plan on doing some shopping you might need to factor that in. The beach stores have pretty cheap swimsuits and they have a much larger selection than stores in the north. |

Keep track of yours: we'll see how much on average you sleep. I bet after 2 days of getting 4 hours of sleep you start taking some naps and coming home from the clubs a little earlier.
