Golfing..
Has anyone been golfing around there during spring break? I'm thinking about heading out there 1 day. How much are the green fees and are the courses nice? Can you drink on the course? Also, if anyone is up for the challenge come on out. We can have a big *** golf party. Ladies come too!!!! I'll be down the 21-25th.

Ok, so I decided to be proactive and look into this ahead of time. It looks like there are two courses close by. One is Signal Hill, and they charge 35 for 18 and a cart which is very reasonable. The other, Hombre, is like 84 for 18 in the morning. Looks like a much nicer course, but I think I'll save the 49 bills. Thanks.
thier websites are www.signalhillgolfcourse.com and www.hombregolfclub.com if you want to look into it. |

jsuboi I'd love to play with you guys but I dont think our dates would work out, the only way I could do it would be during the day on the 21 and that would still kinda suck for me, I'm in PCB March 15-20 so idk...

Livnthelife, actually the 21 is probably going to be the day that I play. It will be my first day there. And it will give me something to do before check-in. We can't get into our rooms until 4. Plus all of the other days I will be dealing with "the night before" syndrome and working on another. Give me a holla and let me know whats up.

Signal Hill is overpriced and a rather boring course but if your looking to just get out and play its very close to the beach. They do have a great deal in that you can get a cooler with four king cans on ice for like $12 bucks(best price for beer i have ever seen at a golf course on ice yet)
The HOmbre is a great course well worth the money. SO i guess it depends on what your loooking for. |

granted i haven't played either course, but Hombre is $50 more than Signal Hill. So for anyone who isn't concerned about playing the best course money has to offer, i'd think Signal would be the way to go. just my two cents.

Yes then Signal Hill would be the way to go. I have played both but if your looking to just get out and hit the little white ball around Signal Hill would do. Hole number 4 my buddy put one into the go kart track and you could hear it bouncing off the wood track. It was pretty funny you'll know what i mean when you play.
