It was -22 today when I left for work, now thats counting the wind chill, but with out the wind it was only 1 outside, thats cold as phuck!! So, I really need some warm weather!! Well I just got back saturday, and I had a blast!! Its nuts down there! The place to be during the day is right behind the boardwalk beach resort and lavela!! The beach is filled with thousands of students drinking beer and getting their tan on!! Not to mention all the sponsors on the beach giving away free stuff! You will have a blast!! I sure did!! Thanks again dean for all the hook ups!!

The weather in South Florida was awesome 3/8-3/20...I went to Fort Myers first (nice setting, usually gets about 15000 breakers a season)..usually Upper Midwest (Indiana huge, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan)..The big week is second of March when IU, Purdue are both out along with others like Akron, Bowling Green...it seemed a little down this year, not by much but i have been eyeballing break here since 1994 always second week i March so I got the feel...Then off to Miami Beach where it was noticeably down this year, probably by 25-30 percent...This area usually haunted by NYC students like Columbia, NYU, etc. with some others thrown in of course (particularly gayboy students)..New Yorkers seemed to be noticeably absent particularly from the Governor Hotel at 20th& Washington which is a long time haunt for NYCers...I tripped up to Ft. Lauderdale for a day and OMG it was definitely up (maybe the Miami Beach costs, traffic, parking issues finally came to a head?)...A paper article quoted a local aficionado of the SB scene in Ft. Liquordale as saying it was the best spring break since 1989...a few years after they pulled in the red carpet..I do believe the issues i mentioned in Miami Beach along with 9/11 causing people not to fly to the Caribbean or Cancun really boosted FLL (Fort Lauderdale's airport code so its a shorthand)...The clubs rocked in Miami Beach (Twist, Score, Liquid)....I even scored a threesome with a couple dewds...Beach was great!!! My tan is awesome!

I couldn't imagine te beach behind club la vela being the place to be....It is all about the holiday inn sunspree.
