Workouts And Prep

So whas new people? Good to see movement on the boards so early like joe said. Anyone getting an early start on their fitness yet? Jason I know you started back a few weeks ago right? After getting on here a few days ago and realizing we are half way there I joined my local gym and started a SB fund. This break will be even better!

i've come up with the ultimate quick way to get that beach bod... in 2 months you should be looking awesome... first you must lift... in order to shed pounds you need more muscles to increase your metabolism, so january do pure strength workouts, then switch to pure tone in february, and mix it up in march... then you must begin eating more often and smaller meals... i eat 4 times a day and my meals range from 400-700 calories with about 25 grams of protein per meal... that will also increase your metabolism... about 2 to 3 weeks in you can begin doing your cardio and it will have more of an effect... just think more muscles and higher metabolism = more calories burned when you workout... then do about 4 different ab exercises 3 sets of 15 reps and you'll be all set...

That work out is only gonna work for ya if you are in pretty good shape to start....if your the type of person to neglect your body all year and then think you can get in shape in 2 months before springbreak....its not happening

First thing, abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym! If there are some of you that need to work on your abs, lower your total calories intake, eat healthy, make sure you are doing cardio and ab workouts and that will help! I am 175 pounds, and I work out 5 days a week! My abs aren't perfect, but I have 2 months until I leave for mexico, they will be really nice by then! Just get your asses in the gym, suck it up, work your butt off and it will pay off.
