Long story short - I was meant to go to San Diego to see my gf, but we split up. Non-refundable flights, so I changed them and PCB it is!

As it stands i'm going on my lonesome , might have a mate coming but its unlikely. Staying in The Inn At Thomas Square from Mar 15-22... not the best for parties I'm sure, but its way cheaper than anywhere else I've found, and the location is killer. Its gonna be my first time at SB, just looking for an awesome week meeting new people, catching some sun, drinking some drinks... all the usual

I just stumbled across this place, and it seems a good place for random chat & advice, so hello and apologies in advance for all the noob questions that I shall be asking!

I live a couple of blocks east of the Inn and you're right it's a great location. Not a party hotel, but a 5 minute walk and you're on the beach behind the summit. Def walking distance from Spinnaker, Club La Vela, and Hammer Head Fred's.

I have been avoiding the whole picture thing, but I suppose that by the end of the day I will update as my buddies fumus, carolina, and dan have all done so I feel left outta the loop! I could in theory put up a streaming video cam so you can watch me do nothing but look at these forums all day at work and get paid for it!

hahah. I could do that to. I think my work is figuring out that I don't do nothing all day but play on here. When asking for the days off for vacation they asked where I was going. So I told them and now they won't leave me alone about it lol. Since I am like 20 years younger then everyone in my office. I love being the baby at work I get to do whatever I want

Trust me, I wouldnt do that, you would all be very bored watching me do exactly what you are doing haha. With eventually doing some AutoCAD work on the side. Its great, im getting paid to research spring break, and you know whats better, my boss sits next to me all day reading these posts with me, hes in his late 30's tried convincing him to come but he wont, says hes too old. And its ashame cuz he would out party any of us any day!

Crazy stuff, I use AutoCad myself. What field are you in? My boss sits within 10 feet of me and he likes looking at all the pictures.

My boss doesn't sit by me, well he actually is never here. I work with all guys and the CEO of my company saw me looking at pics and commented about it. Not sure if he was upset or interested lol. I to have tried to convince some people to come with that can party good, but they are all married blah

I am a mechanical engineer pretty much, I design pipe lines and building structures, that sort of thing, what do you do drive?

I'm in the architecture area. We do mainly commercial properties but we'll do custom homes also.
