I posted this info about a month ago here on the boards, but it has been lost in the shuffle I guess. So I figured I would repost it.
It was on the radio again this morning. Wal-Mart on the beach WILL NOT and I repeat WILL NOT develop ANY film that has any form of nudity on it. They will take that roll of film and shred it right before your eyes. So if you want to have some lasting memories of Spring Break 2002, please do not take your film to Wal- Mart to get developed. Im sure there are plenty of places here on PCB that will gladly develop any and all of your photos. I just don't want you to waste your money and time and film and your fun photos be gone forever. Best bet is to get a digital, or hollar at someone who does, (like me) :D :D :D :D Look for me on the beah with my video and digital camera. I'll have my American Flag flying high and above my truck, Any of you that wants a ride, HOP IN! PARTY ON MY FRIENDS!!!!! 411 |

damn- I'm pretty sure they don't have the authority to shred your film... they can always refuse to develop it, but that film is your property...
oh well- it's not worth the risk, anyway. listen to 411 and DON"T take film to walmart. |

Do not take film to wal-mart
IF ...... you have film with any nudity on it dont take it to wal-mart or most 1 hour photo places. because they will ruin your film. weather they develop it or not... if you do have pics of nudity and try an 1 hour photo booth. tell them before you hand the film in theres nudity on it and will they develop it? i had my own 1 hour photo biz. and would develop anything that came in but a lot dont do that. the other alternative is send it to a swingers magazine that handles those things. dont lose good times and pics. to wal-mart ...... check around . the best thing is a digital cam or cam corder to do as you wish with. hope you all have a wild spring break ..........:)

Yeah, definately not Walmart! I had the same problem last year, trying to decide who I could get to develop my film. I ended up taking it to a Ritz 1-HR Photo place in the mall and asked if they could develop my film. They said no problem, thankfully there was a guy working there. He took care of it for me and gave me the hook up on the cost, he said I had some great pics and gave me 1/2 off. Works for me.:)
