I really didn't mean any harm. We're running a social network over at the deleted site, much like you guys. We just thought maybe somebody who likes to party in PCB or Cancun would like to come over and give some of our newbies a clue. You'd be very welcome to come over and post links back to your forums, or any other Spring Break Related Site. But if you do I'd appreciate you letting me put my url back.

Our site is totally free; we're not selling memberships.

Anybody is welcome to come over to our site a post a link back to your board or anybody else's. We won't pull you down unless you're pushing something that's not related to Spring Break, honest. As a matter if fact, that would be great! That's the whole idea behind social networking as I understand it. If we can direct any of our members to a site such as this where they can get additional info on Spring Break then we're doing our job. These sites should be for everyone. Let's get together bro!

We always like to post a graphical link on our home page to a featured forum. Last month it was "springbreakdude" (I won't give the url I guess..), We were just about to pick another..

Anyway, once again my apologies, I didn't understand the rules I guess. Won't try it again. You guys are running great boards! Good luck to y'all.

No worries - and we're not against sharing helpful information. But, removing the link is standard procedure when someone dumps a self-promoting link in our forums.

Join the discussions, contribute to our social network here on Tripsmarter and we'll probably see things a little differently.

As your Spring Break site grows in poplularity, you'll see why we (and many other heavliy traffiked forums) have these types of policies.

Cool, thanks a lot. We're running a social networking site, that's a little different than a forum, so we like to feature an awesome board every month for our members to go check out. Not that you really need our help, but if it's alright with you we'd like to put up a link on our home page to www.tripsmarter.com for December. You're right, we don't get a huge amount of traffic yet, but it might bring a few folks your way.
