Boardwalk 25 And Over

I stayed at the boardwalk last year and im only 22..but i did it through one of those private rental sites...i don't even think the lady at the front desk said anythign about my age...anyone else have a similar exprience there? because i see alot of people being concerned about not being able to rent there...

I guess you got lucky. The Boardwalk requires you to be 25 to rent a condo but 18+ to rent one of the hotel rooms. The Hotels and Condominiums are all different buildings but right beside each other. Not sure which one you stayed at so you might want to clarify. I know during spring break and through out the year they are really strict about being 25 at the Condominiums.

Well if it was private owned then the age requirements are at the owners discretion...

i booked mine through vbro.com, they never asked how old i was, do you have to show ID when you get there even if you booked through the owner?

that's how ive done it the past 2 years including this one...the owner leaves the keys in a padlock thing ansd she gives u the combo..the only reason i had to go to the front desk was becuz the keys werent working..the lady fixed them tho no problem..the owner of the one we're staying at this year bumped up our refundable deposit because we weren't 25, but that was fine. there's really no questions asked if you;re doing it through a private owner like on vrbo.com ...what week r u goin down there?

If its anything like how MTV set things up in the past the view cant be all that bad.....I know when they put on shows behind the summitt condos people where all over on the balconys watching...pretty high up so its not the best view but that also means u dont need to wait in line for a couple hours before they start either

We booked a condo through the Boardwalk directly through the resort. They checked ID when we checked in to make sure one of us was 25. They then kept photo copies of all of our IDs on file for their records. I don't know about any experiences booking a privately owned one, but that was my experience.

On a side note, if you can snag one of these condos, I recommend it. They are sweet, and you can't beat the location. We had no problems with the security either. You get more older, perhaps elderly folks in the condos than in the hotel, but most are pretty cool, and they stay out of your way for the most part.
