I was gonna drive but I'm just gonna fly...I'm also a north east guy, but I'm north and more east then you, so that means i am way cooler/bad ***.

drivin is fun, u meet a lot of people who are on there way to da same place u are.....pretty cool

Oh no doubt, it's just a day of my life that will be spent in the car, considering the price of gas, and risk you take when you do something like that. I'd rather just pay the cash up front. Truthfully as I have said elsewhere on the board I wanted to drive but my friends convinced me otherwise. Now that I am flying I am sorta starting to see the light and it's good!

gas prices?? lol.....its gonna cost about $300-$400 round trip on gas and i have a car to drive around in PCB, not to mention that ur gonna be either :
1. walking everywhere (everything is spread out over a 2-3 mile strip)

2. ur gonna be paying for cabs ( average $10 a ride or more depends on the number of people)

3. ur gonna be taking those free church vans( which can be fun, but annoying at times)

ur airplane trip from albany is prob like $400-$800 per person......ima spend a max of $400 the whole trip on gas driving from newark nj down there, divided by 4 people = $100 per person on gas......17 hour trip each way

so who's saving???


and the risk??? wat risk?? just dont drive like a maniac and speed like ur in nascar, switch drivers every gas stop (average every 6 hours)

To bad I am leaving on the 15th to head down. I am leaving from South Carolina. Would have loved to follow ya'll all the rest of the way. See ya there tho:)

Every time you drive there's a risk. Whether it be your car, other drivers, etc.

If you read my post you will see that I said, I wanted to drive but was dissuaded by my friends. I can see both points of view both have inherent advantages and disadvantages.

Driving has a monetary and logistical advantage, while it has a major time/risk disadvantage.

Flying has time/risk advantage, while it has a monetary and logistical disadvantage.

So I can see both ways, I really can...I am just saying in a perfect world, had you the money to do so and your friends as well, you would fly and rent a car...who wouldn't?
