This is a good thread.

I think it depends on where you are staying. Last year we stayed at Boardwalk and went to Spinnaker the first night....years past it was always Harpoon Harry's 'cause we were at the Chateau.

If I go this year, we'll be at the Boardwalk, so I'll say Spinnaker...I'm not a LaVela fan.

I'm not completely sure. I think it's just too huge and intense for my liking. I like it for about an hour, then I'm ready to get out of there. If you go with friends, it's hard to stay together. If you walk away to dance or get a drink or something, you can't find anyone. I prefer places like Harpoon Harry's personally. Not very big, but still crazy party atmosphere. Spinnaker is big, but not so big that you get lost.

Wow, well it sounds like a place I would have to go to understand...but yea I mean I know from just own experience that the more cooler smaller places can also be the must rowdy! lolz I have been to the superclubs in CUN, and ACA....and they were fun definitly they were a good time but, my favorite places were the beach party places like Fat Tuesday's and Disco beach cuz they were just wild and it really had me feeling like I was on Spring Break.

haven't been to the clubs in PCB obviously since it's my 1st time there lol. But from past experiences from other places the smaller places are always the best. They can get pretty wild, which we all love

Though Steve-O is right on the money I will still have to say LaVela is one of my favs. I love all the different themed rooms and different music you will hear in each. When you wanna shake it, you got the Thunderdome, if you want to hear techno, you got the Space room, want to catch a breather, you can chill in the Karma lounge etc, etc. I know alot of people might not be so fond of LaVela cause of they think it's over hyped or it was a sausage fest when they went but I've always had a good time.

I love Latitudes cause of the close quarters and the toned down security and of course the contests so its a toss up for me.

I haven't yet been to Harpoon Harrys so I'll have to see what thats all about this year.

All this said to answer this thread, don't know yet. Depends on who I'm with and what they want to do, just gonna go with the flow.

I have to agree with Dan when he says he'll have to wait and see. My idea is this...I am leaving friday night 3/28 from Delaware at about 7, with hopes of being in PCB right around 9-10 in the morning(3/29), the hotels dont check in untill 4, so I have almost 6 hours to either a) party and check in piss drunk, or b) sleep in the car for a few hours since I will have been up driving most of the night and go from there. Honestly now, if i get to PCB you think imma be sleepin, no way so which club to I go to first? the one serving beer and eggs closest to the Chateau!

When I went to Cancun, Senor Frogs, Fat Tuesday, and Pat O'Briens were my favorite places. I'd compare those places to Harpoon Harrys or Spinnaker. I went to the City Nightclub in Cancun, and I wanted to die. It was a mad house. I'd compare that to LaVela. Maybe that gives you a better idea. If don't mind LaVela, but it's not a place I can spend all night at. If you haven't been to Harpoon Harry's, you gotta go there. I've gone with a few different groups of people down there, and everyone loves Harpoon Harry's the most.

Oh yea, Fat Tuesdays and the Booze cruise were definitly my favorite parts of CUN!!

Cancun forum: My experience in Cancun, Mexico – “Spring Break 2006” - TripAdvisor

I really liked the nightclubs too though, ya know...it was just alittle more wild those places like SF, FTs but the thing about the giant night clubs is this, you need to like to dance, and listen to dance music. If you don't like doing those things it's not going to matter how nice the club is you just aren't going to like it. I like dancing(although I can't very well) and I like listening to dance music and stuff. I don't mind being amongst crowd of people, and I'm not so shy that I won't dance with some random hawties. It's just different but, all the same do I enjoy those smaller places more? Do I think it's easier to meet women at places like that? Do I think they are alittle bit more raunchy and alittle more personal? Yes, and I like them better because of that.

Cool

Very Nicely put Fumus. I enjoy raunchy and personal anyday. ( dirty thoughts) However, I like the big huge crowds too. I think as a matter of fact, I might be the only person I hang out with that likes to get a lil dirty with huge crowds of people. Hell I can chill alone and be aight, though I dont prefer this very often unless Im in the serious XBox zone. Haha gotta love the xbox. But to answer the question as far as partying is concerned and not eggs....I will prolly do the Le Vela thing on the first night just to see the hype and see if I should make the venture back or not. I hope it doesn't displease.

Yea id go to lavela the first night then and get it over with....it might be your type of place but its def not mine.....I remembr the first year we headed down to pcb for springbreak we were pumped to go to lavela....I use to watch that intro on their website 10 times a day to get pumped up and it took actually going to the club to realize its over hyped.....but check it out during the afternoon for their wet t shirt contests when the beach starts to wrap everything up
