With regards to ID's, here is my experience in both PCB and in general:

1) you are always better off with a real ID that looks like you than a fake.

2) clubs in PCB go to great lengths to ensure that no one of age gets drinks and gives them to people underage (at least the big ones), but I saw a ton of drunken underagers in the clubs last year.

3) when you get to the entrance of a club, if you are acting like a drunking a-hole, making a scene, doing over the top screaming and such, they are going to look to deny you. Act like you know how to carry yourself with respect and you'll be fine, drunk or not, 21 or not.

4) Last year we were at the front of the LaVela line waiting for them to let people in. Some dude started trying to be cool and jabber to his friend about how drunk he was (loud of course, so everyone could hear, like we were going to be impressed). Bouncer heard him, told him he was not coming in, period. He didn't.

5) Beach partying seems to be pretty hands off. I didn't see a single cop down there looking at ID's. You can booze on the beach at your leisure, as far as I could tell. Just make sure it stays on the beach and not in parking lots or on the sidewalk.

6) Don't over think it. Just have fun, get hammered in your room and on the beach. That will comprise most of your day and evening anyway.

7) try an Id if you choose, but have a back up plan on where to go and don't let your crew go in front of you, pay $20 to get in and then you get denied.

8) As with anything involving drinking or purchasing booze: ACT LIKE YOU KNOW, NOT LIKE YOU'RE NEW.
