Our Plan, thoughts?

Hey guys, I thought I'd lay out my groups plan to see if you guys can tear any holes in it or provide any advice on anything since this is our first trip down to PCB.

5 of us (guys, good lookin' ones, I might add) are comin down from TN on March 4-8. 5 Days, 4 Nights. We're stayin in the Boardwalk Resort in a 2BR/2BR Condo on the 10th Floor. One of us is 26 so the age factor for the Condo wasn't a concern.

We paid a total of $828.75 for the Condo which comes out to $165.75 per person, total, for the trip.

We're bringin roughly $200 worth of alcohol with us, 4 cases of beer, 4 handles of rum/tequila, and maybe a bit of champagne.

We're also bringin about $150 worth of food to cook and eat in the Condo, since it has a full service kitchen, so we don't spend much eating out. I figure we'll probably go out to eat maybe once or twice the whole trip.

So all this, plus about $20 a person in gas for our SUV, comes to a grand total of $255.75 a person for essentially everything.

What this doesn't include would be any club entry fees, any other alcohol we buy out or any eating out. I figure I'll bring another $100-200 for this.

Is there anything else we should consider? I figure we should be able to fit 5 guys, luggage, food, and alcohol in our car without a problem. We got all the normal necessities...sunscreen, advil, vitamins, tons of water, poweraid, condoms, etc.

Thoughts?

Not nearly enough alcohol.... maybe your not big drinkers, but you'ld be suprised how much you drink when your in that spring break atmosphere. Last year there were 5 of us, and 2 didnt really drink beer. In one week we drank almost 20 cases and 5-6 half gallons... But regardless you can always buy more alcohol while your down there, just make sure you go to Walmart, they have the cheapest prices. Other than that, I think your plan sounds good. I will say tho, if you plan on going to the bar everynight, go early cuz cover charges at La Vela and Spinaker (the 2 main clubs) are $20-30 after 12 o'clock.

I halfway figured we undershot the alcohol. We don't have a full week. We're driving in on Tuesday, so we'll be there mid-afternoon.
We've got tuesday night, wednesday, thursday, and friday, then we leave saturday. So essentially, we've got three full days of drinking plus the first night we get there.

We're big drinkers. The group thats going is the "single" group of our larger group of friends and we regularly go out together as a group, so we're used to drinking together, which makes it even worse, haha.

Yeah I read up about that with the clubs, we plan to get the hand stamps early in the night so we only pay $5 instead of $20+.

I think your plan sounds good....your bringing all the right stuff and i totally dont think u need to bring anymore than $200 in alcohol....thats plenty to bring with and u can easily get more there.....yea the point is to party and drink and have fun, but you also prolly want to remembr your trip down there also.......I would love to see 5 guys drink 20 cases of beer and 5 half gallons of liquor in a week.....your gonna have to be sharing to go through all that, I dont care what you say........$20 a person for gas for the whole trip sounds pretty good when your coming in an suv...im taking mine down there and im planning like $50 a piece, what are u taking down there?

I agree with everyone else and I like your plan. One thing I will add is make sure someone has a credit card or something with enough credit available JUST IN CASE something happens to someone or your vehicle breaks down. Crap happens, so be prepared.

Yeah, we all go to MTSU. We definitely plan to remember everything, we just sometimes get...overexcited with the amount we drink. We're trying not to spend too terribly much money while we're down there, so bringing enough with us will be critical. I don't know, I'm really not too worried about it I suppose.

I've got a credit card, got a $5k limit, good thought on that.

Over the course of a week that works out to be 4 cases and a half gallon per person..... 12 beers, 5 shots a day.... Sounds like alot but when u start drinking at 12 in the afternoon and dont stop until 4-5 am, thats not that much at all...
