Welcome to the forums BAMF! The Fountaine Bleu isn't a traditional Spring Break hotel. There will be a handful of breakers there... but there's also a lot of residential at the FB, so you probably won't be able to get too crazy.
It's a little ways from the main part of the strip (Harpoon Harry's, Latitudes, etc), but close enough to walk if you had to. Definitely take a cab or drive to the superclubs (Spinnaker, La Vela) and mtvU@Boardwalk. You are also fairly close to Sharky's and Sandpiper Hotel (they have a party-hardy tiki bar!) Take a look at our Spring Break Party Map and you'll see exactly where you are. Have fun... be sure and post some pics & videos of Spring Break when you get back! |

**B.A.M.F**. The Fontainebleau Terrace is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, places in PCB. It has been there since the the 70's. It is on the west end of Front Beach Rd. If you're just planning on sleeping and showering there, you should be OK.

Yea I think its one of the oldest but only b/c Hurricane Opal tore everything down in 1995. We always had a blast at the FB, so I'm sure you will too. Just won't be as many SB people as there will be at other places.

The Fontainebleau isn't that bad. I have stayed there the past 3 years and will be staying there this year from the 22-29th. It is typically a good idea to hop on their website and find a room that looks nice and request it because there are a few rooms that are not so nice. I love staying there and typically find people to hang out with. The beach isn't crowded at all on that end of the strip in the day so there is plenty of room to sprawl out and drink and play cornhole (its a midwestern game if you don't have a clue what that is! lol) Me and 2 other guys from Cincinnati will be down there and we always have a great time at FB!!

I couldnt find any rates or their website, all I could find is the following off of trip advisor.com ....Fontainebleau Terrace is one of Panama City Beach’s oldest properties to date. Despite its age, it features well maintained beach front efficiency condos for the value conscience consumer. Unique amenities such as a karaoke room, located on the 5th floor, a large classic game room with billiards and coin operated video games, a large indoor swimming pool heated seasonally, and great oversized common areas with grills make this an affordable vacation spot without breaking the bank..

I was looking at some pics of "old" PCb on Flickr.com and there was a postcard from the 70s from the Fountaine Bleu. It looks pretty much the same today.
