Panama City Spring Break 08 Scavenger Hunt

Bored with the every day beach/party routine? Looking for a fun and exciting way to meet new people?

The Panama City Spring Break 08 Scavenger Hunt is designed for fellow Spring Breakers to interact, compete, and enjoy PCB to its full potential. The Scavenger Hunt will involve teams of two or more wondering around PCB in search of completing specific tasks and photographing themselves in the act.

Each task corresponds with a point value, which will be totaled up at the end of the period to determine a winner. Depending on the size of this event, the winning team will receive a cash prize. (Could be upwards of $500+ to the winners)

A sample list is as follows:

2 girls dancing 2pt + 1 per additional girl
riding the mechanical bull 5pt

doing a keg stand 3pt
on a jet ski 4pt
lap dance 3pt

20$ signup her person (includes free shirt)
Teams of 2 or more people
Ages 21+ (sorry yougins - with sponsorship we can't have underage kids)

12pm-2pm Sunday March 9th – Signup
1pm March 10th through 1pm March 11 - Event
1pm March 11 - Tallying of points
6pm March 11 - Winner notification @ after party.
Evening of March 11 - After Event Party @ Sponsored Night Club (working on it)

Other Information:
We're working on getting a sponsorship with La Vela, Spinnaker, MTV and others to host the event and offer special prizes. The admission fee includes a free T-shirt and admission to the After Party.

**IMPORTANT**
If this is something you'd be interested in, we're starting a petition to get attention from MTV/Sponsors in the PCB area (more prizes!). Also, we need a count to determine how many shirts to order.

As you can see, there is no paypal account or fishing for money in the post. First and foremost, we're brainstorming fun and exciting ways to meet new people in PCB. It's easy to get caught up in the same old beach/party at night routine. This scavenger hunt will provide fellow spring breakers with something different and edgy to break them from a 'routine'.

With this scavenger hunt, we're hoping to provide an event that people can take away and remember from their spring break (not to mention a butt-load of pictures, and tons of contacts).

The cost is to cover the time and price of printing shirts. If you would like for me to take this off the post, then I will.

Yea this sounds awesome, too bad I'm not going to be down there yet. Does anyone know if there are any other events like this?

I would participate in that also if I was down on the 10th but thats not gonna happen...if you get a good crowd the first week you should think about doing it the following week as well......Good point about all the messages Spinnaker leaves on the boards

Note: despite concocting the idea, I ended up getting extremely hammered, never bringing my camera anywhere and not participating .... but still...

Sounds fun, but the things on the list could be a lot more creative. That stuff is all pretty simple...you should mix it up with some funny stuff like arm wrestling a cop, or buying a dildo for an old lady or something.

About the under 21 thing, yeah... There's probably little chance we'll get sponsors, so come on out anyway.
