Internet Access?

Does anyone know where internet access is available for free in PCB? It would be helpful to have the internet to look random stuff up during the week, such as concert schedules.

I honestly do not think I can make it a whole week without checking my email. However, if no place near the Summit (where I am staying) has wireless, I guess I will leave my computer at home.

There are several places w/ free wifi:
TripSmarter.Com: Panama City Beach/Internet Access

But, I'm betting you'll find an unsecure wifi network or two at the summit (is that illegal, btw.... accessing an unsecure connection?)

Thanks. I don't think it is illegal. I people don't want you on their network, they set up encryption. I am definitely not a skilled enough hacker to bypass even a WEP code. Besides, I will only be online for like really brief periods to check my email and maybe get directions or something so legality shouldn't be a big issue as I am unlikely to attract enough notice to get caught.

I would think most of them do... but with so many privately owned condos, it may differ from unit to unit.

Some of the condos have free wifi in their Lobby's.

most smart owners keep them secure and you will most likely have to get a password from the front desk to access...

I am willing to bet that the new Star-Bucks in Pier Park will have WiFi as-well.. Prob. have to pay though...

Also, Sugar Sands Hotel/Motel on the west end has WiFi.

Along with Flamingo Joes on Thomas Drive...

The McDonalds on middle beach.

All of Joey Java Juice locations.

Dunes Of Panama

Holiday Inn on front beach.

Marriott At Bay Point

The boardwalk promises to have wi-fi on their website, no doubt free to guests of the hotel.

allure11 will become famous soon enough
Ha ha..... I love the fumus on top of things post... Classic!!

And Bikini girl.... I think most of the things you would want or need to know, you could find out word of mouth. Would you really want to risk bringing a laptop to spring break with thousands of people you don't know? drunk people? random hotel maids? I would definately just leave it home!!

Find someone w/ internet access on a cell phone to check email and events!

Just my thoughts and suggestions!!:)
