Party cards?

Are the party cards worth it? My girls and I are staying in a condo March 22-29, and we are wondering if we should invest in some party cards. We really want to go to Club La Vela's foam party and to Coyote Ugly (Plus everywhere else) Does anyone have any suggestions?

yea i never been to pcb but ive been to other spring breaks in mexico and have bought party cards and they aways worked out great..... but you should look at other post on the boards, theres alot about party cards im sure you can find the right one....

If your gonan go to coyote ugly alot i would go with the panamaniac card The Official Party Card of Panama City Beach Spring Break 2008

for La vela i would go with the new rockstar card RockStar PCB at Spring Break 2008 in Panama City Beach, Florida!

i got the panamaniac cards for my group this year i plan on going to la vela but ill be there for 2 weeks and the panamaniac card looked like a better bet for us.....

Yea go with the panamaniac card its def the better deal...they usually have a foam party at hammerhead freds also if you were looking to do that instead of going to lavela for it.....most ppl on here will tell you lavela is a waste but since your a girl maybe its your thing... And I dont have any info on coyote ugly bc ive never been with anyone who has wanted to stop there on springbreak..where you from in Ohio?

Should I buy them on the internet before I go to PCB? Are they more expensive to buy them at the beach?

You can buy them off of Sunquest Promotion's site for $35 right now as opposed to paying $40 on the beach while your there.

About the foam party, check with a guy on here CTFlash, he mentioned something about the LaVela foam party not beign that good at all, said it burnt his skin and was like dishwashing soap.

Keep in mind that Sharkeys and Hammerhead Freds will be hosting foam parties as well and I've been to both and they were a blast! Didn't irritate anyones skin at all.

It doesn't seem to be a favorite on these boards, but I personally had an awesome time at Coyote Ugly. I'm really more of a bar person than a club person, so that might have had something to do with it.

It had more of a bar / friendly feel than the super clubs where I felt like every other room was all dark and strobe light filled.

The outdoor portions of the superclubs where probably the best thing going though.

Are the cards even worth buying? I've heard that most of these bars/clubs have no cover and free beer between certain times anyway?! I'm just trying to decide if it's worth the money, or if i'm just going to get in free with free drinks anyway.

Dunno Blonde, its my 4th year going and I still don't know if I want to get the card or not. Yea your getting an amazing deal on things but it also becomes an itinerary for you to follow.

And yea most places are like a $5-10 cover if you dont have the card and you still get free beer at select times.

Spinnaker and LaVela are the only places I know of that dont have a cover during daytime. At nightfall just about all places charge to get in.

Again, I seem to be in the minority- I kind of feel like they aren't worth it. Like Daniel said, there is an itinerary, which can be good if you want to have a plan, but bad if you are a spur of the moment kind of person.

Also, most of those places give free beer from 7-9 even without the card.

I guess it depends how many days you are going for. I went for 4, and really I didn't once wish I had the thing. If I had been there for 7 or 8, I might have wanted one.

I think the bottom line on them is they are a good value if you are going to do everything on thier itinerary, but if you don't want to be married to the idea of a set plan, then probably not.

This is my 5th trip down there and if you plan on going out everynight then the cards worth it in my opinion...if you are only gonna go out 3 or 4 nights then it might be better to not get one..
