Hey Im beinging a couple of car loads of people to panama and none of us have been before. Any advice on the club/party scene? Should we buy one fo those VIP passes to clubs or what?

Hang out at Club La Vela and/or Spinnakers during the day. Both are free entry and throw some awesome parties. At night I would suggest the Tiki Bar. It's a $10 cover compared to most of the other clubs which charge $20, and IMO they have the best DJ of any club...wild girls too. I've heard Harpoon Harry's has the best guy/girl ratio. And if you can manage to sneak into the back of Sharkys through the beach entrance, there's a free night of fun for ya. Me and my friends have done that several times over the past two years.


I wouldn't buy any kind of Party Card...I bought one my first year and found it to be a ripoff because you have to go to the clubs before like 9pm in order to get in free and get free or discounted drinks. I fell for it again last year and it was once again a waste of my money.

Yes, there is about a 5:2 ratio girls/guys...lol. I figured those cards were a waste of time and/or money. Appreciate it!

I guess I have fell for it 4 years in a row............SupaSteve says the card isnt worth it yet he clearly states cover to get into the bars are $20 a night......in 2 nights you pay $40...the card itself is $40.........So if you plan on going to the bars everynight like most people or even 3 nights, your paying $60 and if you woulda bought the card you would be paying $40 for the whole week...........Buy the card or be a fool and don't

Oh and yea U have to go get your hand stamped before 9pm usually......so go get your hand stamped and leave if you dont feel like staying and come back later........If you are under 21 you can only re enter for free at harpoon harry's tho

So which card are you talking about? The Panamaramic or whatever its called? And this card covers the cover for the clubs before 9?

That's why I go to the Tiki Bar instead. La Vela is usually a dude fest and Spinnaker mostly plays rock music, so I'd rather not buy the card and just go to the Tiki Bar or Sharkys most nights. The party cards are worth it to some people, but if you're with a big group where people aren't always on the same page as far as what they want to do or where they want to go at night, then I wouldn't suggest buying it.

Yeah, there will be reps walking around your hotel and at the beach selling them.

thanks and how much are they there cuz i know its 40 now but do they jack the prices up once down there

The card is 40 when you get there also.....we use to each buy our own but last time we were down there we only bough enough for half of us then had one person go back and hand the cards to the rest of our group in line so we didnt each have to buy one.....If you a person that is 21 with you this will work because they can re enter the club without having to pay

Supa......In my 4 years down there ive never been to the tiki bar only heard about it and as for Sharky's Ive never been there either only past it due to the fact it is way the hell down the beach from the boardwalk
