If anyone is flying to springbreak what is everyone roughly paying?? Ive decided that I don't wanna make the drive again 4 times is enough so im just gonna fly and meet my group down there.....And does anyone know if all the airplanes that leave pcb are props? Thats all i can find when i search flights

from jersey/nyc its like $600 for round trip....**** dat, im drivin

its probably going to cost you anywhere between 750- 1000 im guessing, since its so close to spring break time.

jsmitty - I think turbo props are about it until our new airport is completed in '09. I asked a pilot about it and here was his response:

"I assume the question is oriented towards Airline Traffic ..... and the
answer is "No" .... some of the equipment used by carriers at the airport
include small jets referred to as Regional Jets or RJs , or CRJs.......

Thanks Mike.......Im not the biggest fan of those props but i guess its not that long of a flight...flying on saturday and returning on saturday is like 800 out of chicago but if i leave on sunday and return on friday is about 400 so i think im gonna stick to that one............290 out of milwaukee if they still had that deal id take it in a sec....thanks for the help

Well I found a ticket for 282 round trip, the only problem is I would have to get to Valparaiso FL when I need to fly out and its like an hour away I donno if I wanna do that........How far away is FT walton

ft walton is about an hour away, flights are always cheaper into there rather than pcb.

I just booked one from Chicago to Valpo, FL.....so i guess ill make someone thats staying with me pick me up there, looks liek its 50 miles away, then flying out of panama city back to chicago.....final price was $292....cant really beat that since gas woulda cost us about $150 a piece anyways

i paided 470 round trip from la california and i think that was the best price i got after looking for a month

Anyone have any info on busing it from Ft Walton? Is it a greyhound bus or are there busses that run back and forth.

unfortunately I don't have any info on busing it, but I'm getting a one-way car rental for $55 (plus a $25 fee because I'm under 25). That way, I can use the car to stock up on alcohol and supplies. You might not need that since your buddies will have a car, but either way it's about the same price as a cab ride. Another way to make it cheaper would be to split a cab (or one-way car rental) with some other spring breakers that are on your same flight.
