I'm sad....
As the years go by...I'm turning into the guy that's a little too old to continue going to spring break activities. I used to notice the "older" guy that would still come down and hang out...everyone thought he was cool. But for some reason...I just don't want to be "that" guy. You know? So...everyone have fun for me.
I guess it's time to move on to more "adult" things like SOUTH BEACH!!! Woo hoo!! I'll be looking forward to the pictures and stories! |

I'm 24 years old, I will be retiring from Alcohol fueled week long party breaks after this year. I have had a long career with some highlights being Cancun, Acapulco, and Myrtle Beach. Panama city beach looks to be defining moment in my Spring break career, I hope it is.
Know when to say when, and leave the game before the game leaves you. |

I'm sure I'll be teary-eyed just like Brett Favre when I decide to leave the game...

Then next year...your friend who's 23 will say "come on dude...just one more year"...and that "one more year" will stretch into 3 more years. You're NEVER too old to enjoy a good party. Ever hear of Fantasy Fest in Key West? I tried it out last year. Nudity...alcohol...partying...not just for the 20 year olds. I mean these "older" people REALLY take everything you've ever seen at spring break and take it to the NEXT level...which I didn't think was possible. Moral of the story is...the urge to have a good time doesn't go away with age.

I'm 24 and live here, yet I still go enjoy Spring Break. I'm thinking about going to the Kenny Chesney concert tomorrow if anyone wants to join!

Welcome to the Foums Nancyrn!
Always great to have locals in the conversation. Chesney should be a good concert. We'll be out and about, so maybe we'll see you there. If you see Beach TV, come say HI! |
