It was a special court set up within the county to give 'alternative' sentences to Spring Breakers who broke certain laws - primarily open-container, flashing, etc.

Instead of serving time in County or paying a hefty fine, the Breakers were allowed to do community service cleaning the roadways... naturally, this wasn't a hit with all the locals, who would be charged as usual if they broke any of the same laws.

After a couple years of operation, Spring Break Court was dropped this year.

That sucks is that a bad thing pc isnt gonna die out or anything like datona did is it???=(

Nah, PCB should continue to do fine, even without Spring Break Court we're still one of the friendliest towns to Breakers... and, who knows, enough people may complain about it to get SBCourt re-instituted.

Dean you sound cool man.Im gonna have to meet ya next spring break.This spring break my so called friend ****ed it up cause one of them left and went back home just to get his girlfriend so i was stuck at the motel all day and to top it off they wouldnt even go to club lavela at night and that was my number 1 thing to do.Then when i got home my sister told me i could have got on one of those free bus that i had no idea there was any.For next year what is the best motel to stay in ???

It's kinda hard for me to recommend a hotel, since I live here I rarely find myself in one of 'em! But for Spring Break, you want something in the damn cente of the action, and that means something near the super clubs or just off Front Beach Road between Sharky's and the Middle Beach Road junction.

Holiday Inn Sunspree is a fine place that's in the heart of the action, Pier 99 is too (although Serena has a different opinion!), and there are plenty of others... too bad about missing Club La Vela, it's a must-see.
