The Kenny Chesney show was packed! That's by far the most ppl I've seen inside Spinnaker. News reported 2,800 (source=friend) and they were turning ppl away at the front and back doors because they were filled to capacity.

Look for us tomorrow around 1 or 2pm behind Spinnaker & Club La Vela if you're in that area. We'll probably be near the Trojan Tent (97X is broadcasting live, too)

No, I'm staying next to pineapple willies at the sunbird condos...but boardwalk is like a few hotels/houses down. I'm stealing the wireless from somewhere because this place doesn't have it. it only works at one part of our condo haha.

I'm staying with my entourage of 8 immediately on the west side of Hathaway Bridge.

How is it down there and what's really good to go to during the day and at night (in your opinion)?

We are about 5.5 miles from La Vela so we'll prob be taking cabs at night pending costs. We will have 2 cars as it is. Leaving from Daytona around noon tomorrow (Friday)!!!!

Just to let everyone know, DO NOT GO TO HAMMERHEAD FREDS or FOR SURE DONT USE A FAKE....my boyfriend is 21 and so is their friend and they wouldn't let them in(they didnt believe that was them in the ids, when it was)...they got pissed and didn't want to wait on the cops and just left. soooo be careful!

During the day, go on the beach behind Club la vela/Spinnakers/and boardwalk....at night I like harpoon harrys, not sure how it is this year...havent been yet. tonight we went to hammerhead freds...they were too strict, too expensive, and it wasnt even that fun. ive heard the tiki bar at the sandpiper is fun...sharkys....all those places

The Tiki Bar is a great time, always. I've never not had fun down there. Glad you and the b/f are having a good time Erin. I always thought I was the only one who was able to have a sweet time during SB with my g/f since theres so many other single girls around, but I guess not.

Erin, I had the craziest time of my life at Hammerhead Fred's 3 years ago. I saw some insane stuff take place and it was one of the wildest parties I've been. Now they been cracked down on so bad because of it. From what I know back in 06 they had some undercover ATF officers come in and arrest several bartenders, the DJ etc because they let things get to outta control.

What times were the concerts at in the afternoons? What were the crowds like? Could u see the performers really well? How long did they play?...lolz ok alot of questions I know.

We went to hammerhead freds the other night it was okay.....they almost didnt let me buddy in because they said his id wasnt him but after 6 guys looked at it they let him in.....


la vela that same night was offthe hook ( wish i had my camera) my buddy hooked up with a deaf girl its was coo....

The concerts for MTVu at the boardwalk always start around 1...usually with a band thats not as well known like yesterday Lupe Fiasco was b4 Flo-rida and 2day We the Kings played before Paramore. The 2nd concert usually starts around 3. Anywhere you stand at the concerts at MTV is a good view...the Kenny Concert at Spinnakers was almost impossible to get in and see anything...its just not that much room there.
