I am trying not to bash or anything but....
I was not impressed with this club, I think a mediocre night in Boston would piss on LaVela. I wanted to check it out to say I gave it a try, and because it was so close BUT I would seriously estimate the girls to guy ratio at about 50 to 1 and that might even be generous depending on what time you were there.

The Tripsmarter party however was bad ***. I was laughing my *** off most of the time.

Yea La Vela all depends on the night you go. During SB, I've never seen too many girls in there but once in a blue moon, theres a lot of them in there.

Yea, that was a great review.

Please don't tell me anything about the club, don't post any pictures, describe any of the goings on, the music, djs, drinks...just say that it "sucks".

Also, you said the girls to guy ratio was 50 to 1. You always give ratios respectively, so the way you wrote it, it would mean that there were 50 girls for every one guy. I am sure that's not what you meant.

Okay, since I wasn't in any shape to give a more detailed description of the night at 3 in the morning, I will add a few more details. One good thing about LaVela last night was it was REALLY easy to get drinks. Maybe I had the touch, but there were no crowds at the bar and you could just get a drink super easy. The Guy to Girl ratio was awful and I stick by the number ( when they are in the correct order- Thanks Fumus)

The music was okay, but considering there were so many guys waiting to dance with so few girls the main dance floor seemed weak. Many cool people were there if you were just looking to Bull**** for a while, but most of them did say something about wondering how the OTHER clubs were. In my OPINION Hammerhead Fred's was a better scene than LaVela.
Just my opinion though. Oh, and anyone who doesn't want to read my opinion that's no problem. I WENT and wanted to give ppl a basic idea of how it was. Fumus - didn't someone call you out already on offering brilliant, well written and informative reviews on places YOU HAVEN'T BEEN? If you don't like my post who the **** cares.

My friends called me and basically game me the same review as Goodfella....the place sucks, there is nothing good about it at night unless you wanna hang out with all guys or you are a girl. Every year the topic of lavela being a good club gets brought up and im willing to bet atleast 80% of the comments are negative

I went to Lavela last friday and it was so packed!

Never seen so much ''off da hook'' girls. Unfurtunatly, my buddy couldn't enter...

We finished the night giving mardi gras bead and playing trumpet on the strip

Well I finally made it down there after dishing out more for a plane ticket so maybe ill have to stop by and see if anything has changed

After coming back, I owe you an apology. It did just suck. It was big, but not fun. There were people but not alot of girls. When I do my full review I will describe it more but basically I agree with what you said, and apologize for knocking your review.

In all fairness...it was probably a sucky review, for a sucky place (at least on that night).
But I did want to say that you must be a stand up guy to even come back and post the way you did...it's an internet forum, and you didn't have to...but you did anyway.

heres the thing with Levela

They advertise too much and make people think there will be a sht load of girls there .. etc etc...

this makes all the dudes go there... getting raped by any cover charges..

and all the girls go to hammerheads,,spinakers.. etc..





one thing i enjoyed about this spring break.. i didnt pay for cover once!!!!!!!!!!! hahahah

I went the last night drunk and skunked and I had an alright time. They raped me on cover and they didn't start letting ppl in til 7:45. I went to boardwalk after getting my hand stamped and hung out with the Fumus crew, Drivefast, and DanLee. Didn't come back till about 1230 and I had fun. Not a lot of girls but the underground was packed and there was a sweet bboy battle going on. Didn't go back to summit till about 430. All and all this club is good if you like bangin music and the dancin all night (kind of like the old days when raves were still good).
