To all of the people that have been doing tripsmarter for a few years now...remember all the talk of tearing down La Vela and making way for Condos? Remember the big rush of all the people that went to this club because we thought it was going away forever?? 4 years later...and it's still open. Man did we get played or what?

Nope, the people who were purchasing the land went bankrupt or decided not too. I can't remember what happened. I believe they were the same group who purchased Miracle Strip and tore it half way down and left it there. Now its just a bunch of overgrown weeds and crap. Which really kinda pisses me off because at least Miracle Strip had people go there and the land was being put to use.
