i was at PCB during peak week and have to say i was disappointed.

i heard al this talk and dont ya'll get me wrong
i did everything but ive been to cancun and that is the craziest issh i have seen.

cancun in fact is a million miles better than pcb

as a american i have to say, we created springbreak and mexico is doing ist better than us.


la vela is overhyped rubbish with a 10:1 ratio, dont get me wrong i went in there and got some girls but its like y'all have to search hard to get the women.

ladies on the floor are stuck on their man, so if a lady does go up, its like a pack of hounds man.

spinnakers is aight i suppose, but still could be better, i was impressed as hammerheads was quote dope, it seems like a place you cant go with when you are thinking where to go as they dont disappoint, its a cool price everytime.

if anyone has been to cancun then y'all know what im talking about..

i got more to say but wanted to let others get on this topic.

I guess its just not your type of place buddy. I took 3 friends with me who never went to anything spring break before and they were shocked at how crazy and wild it was. Maybe you went with the wrong people? Went to the wrong places?? Every night I was in PCB everyone was partying hard and there were plenty of ladies to be had.

Maybe your just trying too hard to compare it to Cancun, let it stand on its own. I also went to Cancun and yeah, I thought it was "better", but I mean hard drinking hard partying, if the atmosphere for it is right what else matters?

Well, now you learned your lesson and you wont go back, so more girls for me next year, if you actually did get any lol jk :)

more clubs, better nightlife, better food, better costs and im not talking about pcb

cancun there was cars, this made it look like my hometown myc, what is the need to drive around, you guys get drunk or get some girls, driving up and down front beach road is pointless. lol

thank good mtv was there, it made up for some things.

hey question, where did you stay? cause that makes a huge difference, last year i stayed at the sunspree, and i gotta say i wasnt impressed, this time i stayed at boardwalk and summit, summit was close to the same experience as sunspree, boardwalk was insanely fun. so i think that plays into it as well

Yea def matters where you stay.....and are you really being serious when you say Cancun has better food and better costs??

Half the food in Mexico is gonna make you sick and what does cancun have to eat that PCB doesnt? And for Cost.....dude your out of your min....you cant beat PCB I've gone five times, stayed at the Boardwalk four of them and never paid over $225.......you have to fly to cancun then drinking money and whatever else you are gonna spend money on......For the price of your plane ticket alone u have all the money you need for a whole week in pcb.

i been to cancun 2 times (05-06) and pcb 2 times (07-08) all during spring breAK AND CANCUN BLOWS PCB AWAY, im sry guys but its the truth.....girls dont get hassled bye cops for showing some skin, everything goes there....the dj's and mc's deff tell and encourage the girls to get naked.....its a whole different world out there.....cancun is deff more expensive but its also worth every penny.....u can get a party card for $250 and ur drinking corona all week, free shots, free cover everywhere u wana go and most importantly "FREE BOOZE CRUIZ" u get 7 breakfast meals and 7 dinners ......if u stay at the grand oasis ur gonna dish out $1400 for the whole package or u can stay at imperial laguna and get a package for about $900......u can literally take $100 in ur pocket and ur good for the week

and cancun u have the mexican driving around in there lil *** scooter try to sell u pizzas, lol....funniest ****, ur walking distance to everything...the buses are like 50 cent..i can keep goin but i'll stop

no comparison, but i do have mad luv for pcb

I have done both! 3 years in pcb and the last 4 in cancun! Cancun just blows pcb away in my opinion, but you can also have an amazing time in pcb. Cancun just offers more. Better clubs, better weather, crazier atmosphere but it also costs more! For the money, pcb is hard to beat!

lol cancun was 10 full days of NON stop drinking, partying and nakedness!! Im at work but ILL throw some pics up later tonight! Amazing time to see the least, likely the best 10 days of my life! And the weather..............middle to high 80's everyday and it only rained once for like 20 minutes! Amazing!

the hotel has nothing to do with it, i loved my hotel

it was all the small things, i loved the bus trip to cancun, if you going to get wasted there is no need to take a car.

when i was refferring to costs i meant everything besides the flight trip, this will be more as you are flying outside the states, however its worth paying.

as with everyone has agreed, they all prefer cancun, heck people on the beach were dying to go there, even MTV mentioned it.

when i was there, not a single person mentioned PCB.

im not hating but you have to experience both to state which is better.

also thank for the tips, i went to P.Willys but we got bubba gump here, miles better, the food wasnt that nice at P willys.

clubs you have so many on one stretch of road, so more choice

why is the great tiki bar and harry so far, it means having one designated driver, which is quite bad. we went to tiki and it was awesome, there was dudes waiting ages for a taxi so we hitched them a ride..

and in clubs you pay like 30 bucks and you get free cover all night, which includes drinks etc.

pcb its like la vela charge alot after 9 and you dont get anything once you are inside.

u goin to cancun next year again??? we are most likelly goin cuz we got ****ty azz weather in pcb this year

thats exactly why it DOES matter what hotel you stay at. i stay within walking distance of my favorite bars.

i'm not saying cancun sucks, 'm sure its awsome, but pcb is awsome as well, i was not dissapointed at all this year. when i stayed at the sunspree it kinda sucked. had to drive every night, couldnt bring girls to the room unless they were staying in the same hotel. those kind of things are all influenced by where you are staying. and i believe it makes a big difference on your experience.

i considered going to cancun this year, but after reading many articles like the following i decided against it

We did a piece for AOL about some of the hidden spots to check out during Spring Break in Mexico. Not on the list, for reasons that should be obvious, was Cancun. Me, I'm no fan of Cancun, the sweltering, tourist-ridden Shangri-la for, it seems, every cheesy American partygoer who wants to "experience" a foreign culture. Sure, the diving is good at nearby Cozumel, but you can have Cancun. that said, it looks like the city, a Mecca for Spring Breakers, is taking a breather this year. Hurricane Wilma messed the place up pretty good five months ago, and it is doubtful that many folks will descend on the city for wet T-shirt contests and tequila quaffing. In fact, old MTV won't even be hosting its spring break beach party there.

Nearly half of the city's hotels are still closed, and Cancun has plunged as a viable Spring Break destination. Tourism officials say they expect about 25,000 visitors in Cancun this season, compared to 40,000 last year. Where did everyone go? Looks like many have taken their beer bongs south to the Maya Riviera or to Acapulco. Am I shedding a tear? Not really. I'm sure the city will be back, and maybe they need the break.

Why does it have to be a competition?? I would take a week in mid march at either place and be very, very happy about it. Your comparing Ali and Frazier here, OK Cancun is better... but you really cant beat PCB either, and I think hands down they are the #1 and #2 Spring Break spots... of course, they are also the only two I have visited :)
