I loved the "Hit Songs of SB 2008" thread--I found out about some awesome songs through that thread, and it pretty much defined my spring break playlist. Now, I'm wondering, looking back, which one song will most remind you of Spring Break 2008 when you hear it next month or 1, 2, 5 years down the line?

For me, it's a no-brainer: Love in This Club by Usher and Young Jeezy. Everyone went NUTS whenever that song came on, with everyone starting to make out and some guys (me being one of them if I was trashed enough ) even lifting up the girls and squatting them like they were giving them the business

haha I have the same thing with T-Pain's "I'm in Love With a Stripper"...it always reminds me of spring break '06 in South Padre...and last year was a tie between "Throw Some D's" by Rich Boy and "Walk It Out" by DJ Unk

Lil Wayne- Lollipop because they dont play it in the clubs here yet but the song is da sh*t.

For me back in 2005: Lil' John - Get Low. I was at Hammerhead Fred's under their legendary tent when all the sudden this song came on yelling out "from the windows to the walls...till the sweat drips down.....yea you get it....and I remember while dancing i looked over at my cousin and 2 friends and we all started laughing cause it was the first time we had heard it. Every time I hear it today it always reminds me of that moment.

And yea WCDave, both Walk it out and Throw some D's on it were huge last year but then about mid week Young Jeezy's - I luv it blew up in PCB.

For 2008 I'm with Dave all the way with Usher feat. Young Jeezy - Love in this Club. It was Saturday night, SB had just begun for us and my crew and I went to Latitudes. Within minutes this song came on and everyone went nuts. I asked around for the name of it but no one knew. Finally Kelly remembered and told me the name but didn't know who sung it. Just another great song that will always remind me of a SB moment in time.

haha definitely, the club STILL goes nuts when Get Low comes on, even all these years after it came out.

another one that was awesome this year is "Let me see your hips swing" by Savage. it didn't come on as much as the others, but everyone got pretty into it when it came on. same with "Pop Bottles" by Lil Wayne and Birdman.

Ah yes the classic DAWG songs.
You might ask yourself what is a DAWG song? As simple as I can put it these are songs that become popular very fast because one group of people cant get enough of them (Drunk A** White Girls).
You might not like them but that is irrelevant because the drunk white girls like them. Clubs will play these songs in full rotation to keep the DAWG songs in the club.
If you can't tell if a DAWG song is playing look for these cues.

Hot beat that makes the whole club shake

Girls scream right when the beat drops and rush to the dance floor.

Guys and girls who do not dance at all will dance only for this song.

Nearly everyone knows the hook and at some point the DJ cuts the music to let the crowd shout it out loud.

In some cases the song will have it's own dance.

*USHER- Make Love in this CLUB* ~ First night out @ Spinnakers, a girl that i met on the beach that day grabbed me and just started grindin all over me,..we danced for the rest of the night and hooked up for the rest of the week .......................*Buckcherry- Crazy ****** @ Spinakkers, my last night , the cover band playeed it and the same girl in the previous story went nuts and we left after that..... best ending i could of had because it was her favorite song and got her all "riled" up for the rest of the night, lol
