officially over for the year. Weren't many people out today but the highway was PACKED. Still a few stragglers on the beach though. The countdown starts for next year.

Spring break is over and these boards suck......what happened to half of the people that posted for months up to spring break, gave ppl their numbers and met up down there???? Greg, Skyler, Dave and im sure there is plenty more.......

Everyone's in denial that it will be another 11 months before SB09... so they avoid any discussion about Spring Break.

But, seriously... what would interest you guys and keep you coming back for more?

What can we add or change that would make you guys happy?

dude I'm still here for sure, I've been trying to keep the spring break spirit alive with my "songs" and "best non-spring break parties" threads

...still getting the last of my pictures developed, and then I'll be putting up a trip report, too

by the way, have you found out about Vegas? I'm gonna be there April 25-28, June 22-25, and other weekends to be determined

I personally plan on continuing to come on the boards all year long...I can't get enough of thinking about spring break

But I've thought about your question of what could keep people coming back for more, and here's what I've come up with...

What's the one thing that people on these boards have in common? They love Spring Break. And why? Because it's the most insane party of the year. In other words, everyone comes on here because they love planning for and thinking about partying, and they love seeing everyone else's pictures from when they were partying.

Unfortunately, Spring Break only comes around once a year...but is that the only time of year that these people go to insane parties? I doubt it. JSmitty and PoorLocal go to Party Cove, I go to the Rehab pool party, all the Jersey guys go to Jersey Shore, etc.. But right now, conversations about those seem out of place on this board. If I came on and started a thread about how I'm going to Rehab in a couple of weeks, or if I came on and posted pictures of my Rehab trips or Newport Beach 4th of July when I got back, it'd seem out of place.

In other words, I think that if we could somehow make this board a little broader, so that people come on not just to talk about their spring breaks but about their parties in general, then the activity on the board would be less seasonal. People could come on to talk about their planned summer trips, organize to meet up somewhere (e.g. Party Cove or Vegas), etc. They could post pictures of girls in g-strings at Rehab, flashing at Party Cove, doing keg stands at their college football tailgate, etc. Who wouldn't come on to see that stuff? If you like spring break pictures, you'd like those ones.

I don't know exactly what could be done to make these boards more conducive to party/trip posts in general (as opposed to just spring break ones), but if that could be done, I think it'd definitely increase the traffic year-round. Hope that helps.

By the way, I'm definitely not saying that the names of these forums should be changed from PCB-Spring Break to anything else. I think it's awesome that these are focused on spring break. I just wish all the people on here would come to talk about ALL the fun s**t they're doing, rather than JUST coming on once a year to talk about Spring Break

one more idea...the sooner the spring break dates are posted, the sooner everyone will start coming on to plan next year's trip (since we're all planning on going down at the same time and staying in the same place)

I will figure out when we are going to vegas.....I know there is one time in May and not sure when else..Are you still planning on making your cross country roadtrip this summer?

If you all decide to post other party pics I will do my share of posting Party Cove pics. You would think if a non-drinking married old school nerd like me can post pics some of you young guns should be able to add to the posts as well.

Yeah, definitely. That's the only factor I'm waiting for to check the condos and reserve and start talking to people to make sure we will be a big group from Quebec heading down next year!!

as soon as the dates come out, excitement will be back and we'll definitely check for an "Official TripSmarter members Spring Break week!" and check out to stay all at the same place!! That's gonna be awesome!

Well talkin about some of the parties are fine and dandy...but hell, the only big party down here in the south IS spring break....well and Mardi Gras! Myrtle beach ain't that great lol now...if we could have one around here...that would be something totally different ;)
